This cottage is located in the popular family-oriented LaCasa Resort. It is minutes from the beach with 180 degree unobstructed views of the lake. If you're visiting a Lake Resort you should be by the lake, it will be hard find a better location. Our Cottage is located half way between Vernon and Kelowna on Westside Road, the location shown when you click on map is where LaCasa is located, we are down closer to the lake then shown on the map.
Our Okanagan Cottage has 3 large bedrooms featuring queen size beds, a pull out sofa sleeper by the fireplace, 2 full baths, and and a large front deck with an incredible lake view. The GOURMET kitchen includes granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and is fully stocked for all your cooking needs. The cottage is complete with washer/dryer and BBQ. Enjoy your coffee as you watch the sunrise on your large deck, and later the same day enjoy dinner and an evenings' glass of wine on the same deck as day turns to night and you relax while gazing at the stars sparkling over the moonlit lake.
Playing in the Okanagan allows you access to numerous wineries including Grey Monk, Mission Hill, Cedar Creek, and Quail's Gate. It also has some world renowned Golf Courses nearby. Kelowna is well known for its many locally owned resturants with an assortment of menus and night life that features a Casino, theatre, or family oriented activities.
Personally we go to the cottage to enjoy the Okanagan and its range of outdoor activities. Silver Star Mountain is 45 minutes away and is a year round playground featuring Skiing, Snowboarding, and Snow-shoeing in the winter and a Mountain bike park with hiking in the summer. Activities in the area range from zip linning, paintball, biking, hiking, bungee jumping and of course Lake Okanagan is incredible to swim and boat in.
Do yourself a favour, come enjoy the great Okanagan, right on the lakefront. Secluded lakefront cottage on East Bay of Big Clear Lake, Arden Ontario. Very private and secluded setting. Includes 160 acres of attached woodlands which connects to Trans Canada Trail.
Three bedroom cottage only feet away from waters edge. Western exposure with great sunsets over lake. In front of you is lake. Behind you is 160 acres of Canadian shield that is part of cottage lands. Includes canoe, kayaks, paddle board, bbq, fire pit, diving dock, 2 bed bunkee and screened gazebo..
Details:
Cottage has three bedrooms, three piece washroom and a great room with 17 foot ceiling. The cottage is approx. 900 square feet, It has painted wood floors with no carpeting.
Sleeps 6 in cottage and two children in bunkee.
The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, glasses, toaster, blender, coffee maker, crock pot.
There is a screened gazebo at the lake. There is also a Bunkie with two bunk beds. Both buildings have power.
The porch overlooking lake is 7x30 feet. There is 350 square feet of deck at lake attached to a 24 foot dock. There is a floating dock further out in lake for diving.
There is a utility shed which contains adult life jackets, axes, paddles, hot dog sticks, lawn chairs and tools. There is a bbq with provided propane. There is a fire pit.
There is a canoe, 3 kayaks, peddle boat, paddle board . There are paddles/ ores for all boats. You can rent assorted watercraft nearby such as a pontoon boat.
There is a cell phone tower across the bay for cell phone use. There is no land line at cottage.
Laundry- The nearest laundromat is in Perth (45 minute drive)
The closest town with amenities is Sharbot Lake. It is a 15 minute drive from cottage.
Nearby attractions: Bon Echo Provincial Park, Trans Canada Trail, White Lake Fish Hatchery. Golf courses- 30 minutes. Lots of local artisans.

A $300.00/ per week deposit is required. It is refundable if you cancel within 60 days of rental. I need the full payment one month prior to your arrival.
Reduced rates available for parties of 2.
Garbage removal not included in rental. You have to take garbage to local landfill site before you leave.
There is no smoking inside cottage.
Well behaved pets are welcome. There is an extra $100.00 deposit required for pets.
There is no air conditioning but the buildings are well shaded
The cottage is rented from 4pm Saturday to 11 am the next Saturday unless otherwise agreed.
