We are researchers from the University of British Columbia, Okanagan and we are currently conducting a study to better understand how food presentation influences the consumption of fruits and vegetables in childhood.
Eligible participants are caregivers that live in Kelowna, B.C. or the surrounding area and have a child between the ages of 8-12 years. As part of the study, caregivers will be asked to prepare a snack for their child using a recipe and ingredients provided by the research team. Children will then be given an opportunity to eat as much or as little of the snack as they would like. Study will take place in the safety of your own home and will require only 1 hr and 25 minutes of your time.
As part of the study, children will receive a FREE snack! After completion of the study, participating caregivers will receive $25 compensation for your time.
If you have any questions or are interested in participating please contact Skylar Schmidtke at skylar.l.schmidtke@ubc.ca.
