Job Description:Job Description Experience Levels Should Be: · 3-5 years' experience implementing advanced configurations of Duck Creek System · Must be certified in Duck Creek University · Must have experience working on Duck Creek billing Module · Must have experience working on Duck Creek Policy and Claim Module Responsibilities could include but are not limited to: Configuration Analysis · Administers Duck Creek System, including: o feature upgrade planning, testing, and implementation. o configuration of advanced application modules to meet MPI's configuration; o maintenance of up-to-date versions of application documentation and maintenance of up-to-date workflow diagrams of data and inter-system dependencies; o documentation of configuration settings, with a focus on changes from default settings. · Investigates, troubleshoots, and resolves problems with Duck Creek applications, services, and integrations. · Applies defined technical, security, and data privacy standards and best practices. · Analyzes business processes related to application interfaces and functions. · Analyzes and translates functional specification and change requests into technical specifications. · Initiates vendor escalation support, and coordinates and documents problem resolution and service level agreement (SLA) reviews. · Performs configuration based on requirements gathered from the client. · Performs break/fix support, regression testing, and supports the inbound/outbound interfaces to various systems and middleware. · Implements security and data model specifications as defined by business and legal requirements. · Creates support documentation in line with MPI's IT Service Management (ITSM) standards. · Works with the business to align security and functional roles to the guiding principle that role-based access will be leveraged within Duck Creek applications as they are onboarded. · Performs security model analysis, implementation, and administration. · Supports the investigation and analysis of application transactions and security/access logs. · Works with Security and identity team to identify and investigate security architecture/integration incidents, changes, problems, and solutions. Page 2 of 7 · Perform Duck Creek System application administration, performance monitoring, and analysis. · Supports daily operational implementing service requests and project deliverables. · Supports the operations manager with incidents, changes, and support for issue resolution. · Ensures accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, clear documentation, and problem resolution. · Supports the planning of Duck Creek platforms lifecycle. · Plan and execute assigned configuration tasks within deadlines · Develops test plans and test cases. · Performs user acceptance testing (UAT) for technical changes, operational requests and data patches on production environments. · Coordinates the communication and implementation of solutions to impacted user areas, as a technical lead · Validates proposed solution for alignment to business needs, requirements, and impacts to operations, processes, technology, vendors, partners and clients. · Participates in sprint and cycle planning with the agile team. · Creates and updates application specifications, system use cases, business use cases and/or associated business rules and system rules for multiple production support applications. · Review and recommend changes to existing configuration processes · Analyse and resolve configuration issues in a timely manner. · Analyze product backlog items or bugs and creates user stories or technical user stories on the agile framework. Operational Support · Manages production support tickets for Duck Creek application from start to implementation including defects during project warranty period. · Provides daily support for simple and moderately complex issues and provides information and/or workarounds, if applicable on multiple production support applications. · Updates incident/work order tickets assigned by the IT support group and creates production support tickets within established processes. · Creates product backlog items or bugs based on issues reported by the business units on the agile framework. · Assists COE Quality with any enquiries/clarifications related to application defects or enhancements that are being tested in UAT.. · Participates in collecting legislative mandates following approved standards, processes and guidelines. · Maintains a high level of understanding and knowledge on Duck Creek application, data mapping on integrated applications and data utilized by various business area · Creates and executes simple to moderately complex SQL queries for reporting, analysis, and system testing for specific production support applications. · Develop and maintain documentation for new systems or changes to existing ones · Performs system health checks on Duck Creek System Job ID: 39385308
