I upgraded my laptop with these sticks when RAM was cheap, now I need money more than I need RAM. There are heat spreaders attached, use them with caution in a laptop as they might contact the motherboard. They're easily removed if you're uncertain about clearance, or you can use Kapton tape to insulate the motherboard.

I'm including a pair of adapters that you can use to insert these in a desktop PC. It does actually work (see videos on YouTube) but you'll likely have to reduce the speed a bit to ensure stability, especially on AMD. RAM speed and timings have little or no effect on AMD X3D chips though.
