P2 - Sr. Application Developer
Description
Our large enterprise Edmonton client requires a Sr. Application Developer for a 12 month contract with possible extensions.
Client requires an experienced and versatile Application and Infrastructure Analyst II to support a strategic Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program to replace its legacy Records Management System (RMS) and leverage its Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system. Responsibilities will focus on development of a data pipeline and workflow to store, review, manage, disclose, and retain digital evidence in various digital media formats. The successful candidate must have prior experience developing application software and data pipelines, including implementation planning and post-implementation support. They must have a strong track record of successful delivery working with minimal direction in an ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities
• Develop a data workflow and pipeline solution to store, review, manage, disclose and retain digital evidence in various digital media formats
• Assist with creation of system integration test cases.
• Assist with planning the of the implementation of the solution.
• Provide post-implementation warranty support.
• Create documentation related to work completed.
• Share knowledge regarding the work completed with project team members and operational support staff.
• Additional responsibilities as required by the Project Manager
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Degree in a related discipline such as computing science and 4 years relevant experience OR Post-secondary diploma in a related discipline such as
computing science and 5 years relevant experience OR 1 year related certificate in a related discipline and 7 years relevant experience.
• Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in C# programming and systems analysis and design.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written skills. The ability to excel within a team environment.
• Experience working with the following applications would be a significant asset:
o Niche RMS
o IBM FileNet
o IBM Case Manager
o IBM Websphere
o IBM MQ
o Genetec Clearance
• The following experience would be considered a significant asset:
o Creating and maintaining systems to manage workflows.
o Creating and maintaining systems to manage moving unstructured data.
o Creating and maintaining interfaces between software applications.
• Applicants may be required to undergo a knowledge or skills assessment test.
