Senior Developer Oracle
Description
Our large enterprise Edmonton client requires a Senior Oracle Developer Contractor for a 12 month contract with possible extension.
Experience and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will need to provide expert-level technical competency in modern information technology subjects such as:
Oracle PL/SQL, Forms and Reports development
Oracle Database analysis and design
Oracle development best practices
Data warehousing
Application integration, batch processing, and documentation.
Skills and Qualifications:
Required Skills – Technical:
-Extensive developer expertise and experience with Oracle PL/SQL coding, Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports development products.
-Expert knowledge and experience with Oracle 12c /19c Database.
-Extensive experience with enterprise application and solution architecture design, technical design and analysis, development, testing and production support.
-Experience and knowledge of industry-standard software development lifecycle methodologies, best practices, tools, and techniques.
-Experience in related tools and technologies used by / integrated with the TACS application, such as Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Adobe Experience Manager, ActiveBatch, Web Technologies, and database -
modeling tools.
-Experience in producing effective system documentation for design, transition and support.
Required Skills - Non-Technical:
-Excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Excellent analytical skills.
-Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions.
-Ability to effectively multi-task under demanding deadlines.
-Ability to prioritize work and ensure tasks are completed before or on time.
-Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, co-workers, and management.
-Team player who can work effectively in a constantly changing environment.
-A self-starter who takes the initiative but seeks the assistance of others when necessary.
-Enjoys team collaboration and participation.
