South facing - Watch the full arc of the sky from sunrise to golden sunset and all phases of the moon right from your covered lakeside gazebo or private dock. Twice a year, there are private fireworks out on the middle of the lake that light up the black night sky. This is the escape you've been looking for.
The space: Open-concept and fully furnished, the cottage comfortably sleeps 5 (one queen bed + two futons,(with some additional sleeping bag flexibility). Brand new A/C and central heating, high-speed fibre WiFi, big-screen TV with live channels, on-site laundry, a fully stocked kitchen with 2 burner tabletop and toaster oven. There is a beautiful front window view of the lake, and a spacious covered deck with patio lighting for rainproof evenings outside. 4-piece bathroom. Start your mornings with coffee in the cozy side nook.
The waterfront: A brand new 12×12 private dock with child-safe railing steps from your door. There is a dive section and ladder to get you back up on the dock. Sand beach and playground for the kids. A 5-person paddle boat, paddle board, and kayak are all included (based on availability). Excellent fishing — some species catch-and-release.
On the grill & fire: A 5-burner BBQ, lakeview fire pit, and complimentary first-night firewood so you can arrive and relax immediately.
A unique bonus: Authentic Caribbean and West Indian catering is available on-site. Your tastebuds will fall in love.
The owner is on site and available. This was my personal home — it is cared for and clean accordingly.

Looking for a true rustic cottage getaway, this is your spot! Cedar Log Cabin on Charleston Lake. 83 feet of water frontage with a gently sloping lot and great deep, clean water for swimming and boating.
Westerly exposure gives amazing sunshine all afternoon and evening until sunset. Mature trees to relax in the shade and swings on the trees for the kids.
Outdoor fire pit and indoor gas fireplace.
Sleeps 7. Three bedrooms, master with a double tempurpedic, double bunk-bed with a single on top, and 3rd room with a double bed. 3-piece bathroom. Large floating dock with room for several boats with a large deck with an amazing view of the sunset. Water is 1 foot at shore and 8+ feet at end of dock. Screened in porch on the lakeside!
Max occupancy is 7 people, no smoking indoors, NO DOGS. Parking for 3-4 cars, propane and drinking water provided.

Charleston Lake is located in South Eastern Ontario, just north east of Gananoque. The lake is carved out of the Frontenac Axis, a relatively narrow extension of the Canadian Shield bedrock which dominates the landscape of Northern Ontario. The lake is the principal watershed for the Gananoque River, and boasts prime fishing locations. Charleston Lake Provincial Park is located on the shores of the lake, and offers camping, hiking, boating, fishing and interpretive sessions.
Charleston Lake has over 100 miles of shoreline and over 100 islands with over 800 summer and permanent residences on the lake. The water surface is 26.2 km2, and the maximum depth is 91.1 m. A naturally occurring rock and tree formation shows a profile of the guardian of Charleston Lake known as Indian Head. Other than Charleston Lake Provincial Park, the County Park and Sand Bay are excellent destinations for day trips.
Boats, Canoes and Kayaks are not included but you are welcome to bring your own, or rent a boat from either marina in Charleston Village.

For rent, a two bedroom water front cottage available for the 2026 weeks of Aug 22nd to Aug 29th, and Aug 29th to Sept 5th (rentals are by the week Saturday to Saturday). The two bedroom cottage has one bedroom with a queen bed and a second bedroom with a double bed (cottage sleeps a total of 4).
The cottage is located on Crow Lake (between Sharbot and Bobs Lakes) and is approx 1.5 hrs from downtown Ottawa, 20 minutes from Westport, 35 minutes from Perth, and 60 minutes from Kingston. The cottage is south facing and has a stunning view of Crow Lake which is a deep 5 Km long spring fed lake considered one of the best lakes in Ontario for its clean/clear water with excellent swimming and fishing (boats can access Bobs Lake from Crow Lake).
This vacation spot is ideal for a couple or a family with younger children looking to experience kayaking, canoeing, boating, campfires, and the sand beach.
This well maintained cottage has hot and cold running water, flush toilet, shower, fully equipped kitchen (stove, fridge, microwave, pots, pans, dishes, utensils), barbecue (propane supplied), fire pit, docks, kayaks, and a canoe. Your smaller well behaved pet is welcome to join you for your stay.
Renters are to supply their own linens (sheets, blankets, pillows), towels, toiletries, food, etc.
Rate is $1100.00 per week plus HST.
