This immaculate collector
is a well-preserved 2-Door Hardtop finished in beautiful Frost Blue Poly Metallic. This classic Mopar features a 225ci Slant-6 engine paired with an automatic transmission, offering reliable cruising and smooth performance.
The interior is equipped with bucket seats and center console, maintaining the classic late-60s Barracuda look and feel. The car retains manual steering and manual brakes, staying true to its original driving experience with 218,425 MILES.

History/Overview: Imported from the USA in 2009. Last purchased shortly after in Victoria, BC. Car is tight with no rattles and the engine runs very smooth and quiet. Hard to find a single mark in the paint. Black and beautiful. Receipts for $26,796.00 for mechanical and electrical repairs from 2009 to 2011 with very few miles since the work was completed. No evidence of body filler anywhere. Odometer reads 20,381 miles (could even be original miles).
Body: Solid and straight with no evidence of rust in the sheet metal. The paint is VERY good. Hood opens both ways. No evidence of filler anywhere. Glass is nice throughout.
Frame/Chassis/Suspension: All original components in good working condition.
Engine: Likely original Packard straight 8 cylinder with 165 HP.

Interior material by Le Baron Bonney and door panels by SMS. Padded dash and visors aftermarket tissue dispenser. Factory air conditioning but has a leak. Windshield washer system. Dual exhaust with Delta wing exhaust tips. Restored full stainless with anodized insert and rocker panels and rear paint dividers. Reverse lights, dual fender mounted spot lights. Body: Painted a very nice non original red colour. Equipped with the desirable rear continental kit. Factory removable hardtop with opera windows and nice headliner. Straight and solid car.
Frame/Chassis/Suspension: Stock components in well maintained driver quality condition. All new front-end steering and suspension components. 3000 miles on the major overhaul.
Engine: Rebuilt Y Block 312 CID rebuilt in Cranbrook, BC. Likely numbers matching or period correct but not verified. New Champion aluminum 3-core radiator with external electric fan.
Transmission: Rebuilt Fordomatic 3 speed automatic with floor shifter. Recent major service including band adjustment.
Differential: Likely original with unknown gears. Runs with 3000 rpm at 100 km per hour.
Exhaust: Daul aluminized steel with Cherry Bomb style mufflers.
Brakes: Factory 4-wheel drum.
Wheels: Stock 15-inch steel with factory or period correct wheel covers.
Tires: Remington G78 15 Poly white wall bias ply including the spare.
Interior: Factory or period correct upholstery (was colour changed by previous owner) in good condition. All new wiring under dash.

The Austin Healey Cobra … or the car that might have been the Cobra , had Carrol Shelby got his way back in 1961 …… In that year, Carroll Shelby approached Donald Healey with the idea of putting a V8 engine into the Austin-Healey 3000 to improve its performance. Regrettably for Shelby Healey was not interested ….. he saw this idea as a distraction as he was assembling and selling as many completed Healeys as he possibly could screw together with 90 percent of production going to North America. However …..Another name in Shelby’s Rolodex was Charles Hurlock, who owned A.C. cars in Thames Ditton, Surry, UK. Hurlock was interested and in 1962 the 1st AC V8 SHELBY roadster was assembled …… and the rest is history. AC cars is still in business making today, of all things, electric Cobras at a list price of over $250,000.
Now back to my car …...An ex works steel body V8 Austin Healey will set you back about $100,000, or you can buy my fiberglass version for $28,000.
Why am I selling such a beautiful car? The ONLY reason is that I am moving to South Africa where left hand drive vehicles are prohibited so regrettably I can’t take it with me.

Rare 1956 Meteor Rideau Victoria 2 door hardtop, one of 2110 built. This is a mild custom. 302 Ford rebuilt by previous owner, Mustang T5- 5speed transmission, Edlebrock 4 barrel carb and Edlebrock intake manifold, Granada rear diff. Runs very strong. Power rack and pinion steering. Rad and heater core redone. Solid front crossmember. New gas tank, lines, fuel filter and new Stewart Warner electric fuel pump. New rear shocks last year.
Body is solid with shaved hood, trunk and door handles with power release.
New chrome on grill, front turn signals. Stainless is nice as are bumpers. Car was painted spring 2024 deep blue metalflake. Interior nice but not perfect and needs a headliner
