Our busy plumbing drainage & heating company based in Vancouver is looking for experienced plumbers to join our team. We specialize in residential and commercial service work. This position will require the candidate to service all areas in Metro Vancouver.
Main Duties of the Job:
-installation of all plumbing systems
-maintenance and service of all plumbing systems
Specific Skills Required:
-Knowledge of pumps and re-pipes within commercial and residential applications
- Knowledge of building systems and heating systems.
-Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
-Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size.
-Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems;
-Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems. Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors.
-Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
-Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
-Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
-May prepare material and labor cost estimates.
