Malcolm McDowell narrates this music documentary, which covers the history of the Beatles, from the legendary British rock band's early days in Liverpool, England, to the act's eventual dissolution. In addition to featuring live footage of the group, along with rare photos of the Fab Four -- John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr -- the film presents interviews with many of their close associates, most notably producer George Martin and session musician Billy Preston.

I am a seasoned mature Drummer with 40 years experience seeking fellow like minded people to form a Roaring 20s Jazz Group.
This would be extremely unique to Prince Edward Island and I think it would be a great hit....
Anyone who's interested let me know please. Female front singer would be a great asset...
Pop culture during the 1920s was characterized by the flapper, automobiles, nightclubs, movies, and jazz. Life moved fast as a new sense of prosperity and freedom emerged at the end of World War I.

I'm pretty sure this is a longshot for PEI, but I'm wondering if there is anyone interested in attempting to form a symphonic metal band.. Either for covers or maybe some original content.. The style I'm thinking is similar to bands such as Amaranthe, Epica, Kamelot, Ad Infinitum, Xandria, Within Temptation, and Nightwish (and many others, but these come to mind). This would be open to some alternative instruments.. different strings (Violin, cello, mandolin, etc..) and various wind instruments (Flutes, pipes). I am a guitarist (late 40's) so I would be looking for a drummer, bass, maybe another guitarist, good keyboard player, and a vocalist (this will be the tricky role). Anyway.. hit me up if you have an interest.

Would you like to have fun playing ukulele with others and learning new songs?
The Saturday Morning Ukulele Group (aka SMUG) is an intermediate-level group of ukulele enthusiasts who get together in Stratford to play, sing and practice most Saturday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 am.
We also donate our time performing for various groups in the community.
We are currently accepting new members. If you’ve got your basic chords down (C, F, Am and G or G7) and are ready for a bit more of a challenge, or would just like to play and sing with others, come check us out!
Bring your uke and someone will share their song sheets with you. If you decide to join us on the regular, our music is available on DropBox.
To get an idea of what's possible musically, with a group of ukulele players, check out the YouTube channel of the Austin Ukulele Society. They are our heroes!
We have a couple of bass players and do music from most genres and eras.
Participation in SMUG is free, however donations to the "toonie bin" are encouraged to help cover costs.
Give Kelly, the group leader, a call if you have any questions.

The Keppoch Shores Recording Studio is centrally located in Stratford and is well equipped for most any recording project. The musical centrepiece of the studio is the Steinway “B” Grand Piano. We are the only recording studio on PEI with a grand piano, and it’s a STEINWAY! The studio features top of the line preamps by Avalon, Neve & Phoenix Audio, Dangerous monitoring, and the Hear Technologies Hear Back System. The MAC recording platform is paired with PRO-TOOLS HD (16 channel I/O) and is loaded with some of the finest plugins by SLATE DIGITAL, SONNOX, ISOTOPE, and WAVES. MELODYNE is here to help smooth your vocals. We have OMNISPHERE 2 for great synth patches, and the complete VIENNA SYMPHONIC CUBE for more complex arrangements.
The expanded live room has been fully tested and acoustically treated and is capable of many configurations. Piano trio (piano, bass, drums), or any combination of electric instruments is doable. There is vocal or guitar/bass amp isolation available. Acoustic guitar sounds amazing in the room!
The studio has a great collection of microphones for any application. The flagship Telefunken ELA-251 M has an incredible sonic presence and is known as “THE VOCAL MIC”. Then there is the Neumann U-87 ai that sounds great on anything. The Neumann TLM 103 and two Neumann KM-184's are all fine microphones. Two vintage (1970's) Sennheiser MD 421s, the AKG 112 D, and the usual Shure SM57s all sound great on the drum kit.
Donald Fraser is the owner and operator of the studio. He’d be glad to engineer and produce your next recording project. As a professional keyboard player and arranger in many genres, Donald can help shape your project.
No project is too big or too small!

Good evening, Hope everyone is safe from COVID-19!
As I'm slowly resuming music lessons, we have also have the option for online lessons. My name is Dearian Seepersad, I'm a Music Teacher, Performer, and Composer. For the last 5 years I've been performing all over the GTA, including: festivals; pride, multi-cultural, afro-fest, private functions, restaurants, bars, and producing my local show while producing tracks for local Toronto artists. This year, I'm building my independent music school from my home studio. (Big Project!)
Too often, I hear about beginner students horror stories about learning in the classical vein or the lack of purpose in general lesson plans. My focus is to create a unique lesson plan for each student to maximize efficiency while incorporating my teaching style into the plan. I incorporate musical expression, technique, and theory into each lesson while taking we've learnt and reworking it into something original. Composition being the ultimate goal; as we learn a lot quicker thinking for ourselves.
There are no limitations, I've taught and performed in many genres: Classical, Jazz, Rock,Pop,Reggae, Blues, Hip-hop, Gospel, Fusion, the list goes on...
So who am I?
I'm a 24 year old musician who's extremely passionate about ALL music.
- Completed 3 years Mohawk College Applied Music program.
- 5 years teaching experience. (Includes leading band rehearsal and performances)
- Developed and promoted shows
- Constantly studying the scripts of the great classical composers.
- Most important: Patient and Understanding.
The lessons I'm offering are: Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Recording, and Drums. (Drums taught by another teacher)
We will discuss: Structure (Form), Harmony, Melody, Counterpoint, Sightreading and Improvisation while meeting the technical demands of instrument. Each lesson will be 30 - 45 minutes with the option to have the lesson at your location/home.
My rates are fair and negotiable. We all have our lives and circumstances going on; it's okay.
Feel free to respond to this ad, call or text: 647-294-0493.
(I'm quite busy, if you text the instrument you wish to learn, I'll call as soon as I'm available)Thanks for reading, I hope we chat soon!

Have half a mind to start a new thing, and I guess this is as good a place to start as any.
Any musicians on here with a soft spot for the great catalogue of Irish rebel music?
I'm a 36yo singer and decent enough guitar player, and I've been taken by the notion of putting a little project together focused on the historical music of Irish resistance, and I'm wondering if there's any musicians on here (traditional or modern instruments) that might have an interest in working on such an endeavour, and trying to get it out in the world to play live.
A guitarist that can write engaging leads would be an amazing bedrock, as would a strong fiddle player, but any musician with a soft spot for Irish/Celtic vibes welcome to reach out.
My major influences in the genre are The Wolfe Tones, Gary Og, Ron Kavana, Christie Moore, and Paddy Reilly, but my personal musical background is as more of a rock guy (most recent projects include Ghost and Iron Maiden tributes, and a rock opera), so something that lands in between the two approaches could be fun.
Material-wise, I'd be thinking to vary things across the wonderful rebel songbook from truly historical stuff (ie. Follow Me Up to Carlow, Skibereen, Shan Van Vocht, Lough Sheelin Eviction), to great Ballad Boom songs of the 60s (ie. A Nation Once Again, Come Out Ye Black and Tans, Grace), to the Hunger Strike era (ie. Joe McDonnell, No Time For Love), to more contemporary entries (ie. Zombie, Van Diemen's Land), and mixing in a few less political, but well-loved standards (becausecan Raglan Road ever be played enough?).
Very open to working in each collaborators favourites to build a beautiful repertoire.
If you're a player and any of that captures your fancy, get in touch.

Drummer needed for new band, playing originals. Sound similar to 90s Alt.Rock and 2000s Indie Rock, we can get more specific in conversation. I've got very well recorded songs, catchy and worth hearing (I'm the singer/writer) so it's very helpful if you have proof of drumming skills (Youtube clips etc, Instagram) . I jam in Guelph. This spot is likely for a dude who still believes in his gifts or who hasn't had an opportunity yet. Let's talk! Thanks

Singer looking for an acoustic guitar player for duos. Preferably someone in the same age range – late 30s/early 40s.
I do play acoustic guitar as well, but I’m not a guitar super-star and prefer to focus on singing! It would be great if you can provide some harmonies/backup vocals, but certainly not a deal-breaker if not.
My hope is to do weekday 7-9ish acoustic shows. I have a lot of contacts to get the ball rolling for gigs. Also have a jam space at my house.
I’m in a band, Electric Crush, which will take priority. Lots of videos on our Youtube page so please check me out to make sure I’ll be a good fit for you! https://electriccrush.wixsite.com/electriccrush
I would really like to partner up with someone who has performed before. Please send along any YouTube video’s and/or sound clips.
Thanks!

Looking for people who would be interested in putting together a Outlaw Country/Country Rock project together. Not really interested in playing the stuff that is on mainstream radio. Check out some of the Red Dirt Scene groups for reference. I am a laid back easy going person who doesn't mind having a beverage or 2 during rehearsal, as long as it doesn't become the focal point of the session. I am mainly a rhythm guitar player myself and looking for other drama free players to get somehing off the ground, message me back here and we can start collaborating
