We're seeking a guitarist with a great tone, lots of energy and stage presence, who is proficient in playing complex classic rock and pop tunes, available for monthly rehearsals in Cambridge. We're a fun, dedicated group that loves making music together. You'll get to play songs that challenge your skills and stand out from the crowd, with regular gigs at popular venues.
We will travel approx 2 hours out of town for gigs - We are at Bowmanville Ribfest this year, and one of our favourite spots is Twisted Arm in Sarnia. We also play regularly at Sherkston Shores and have two gigs lined up there for this summer.
We have a number of gigs lined up and can likely fill the void with other guitarists while we get someone up to speed. We have a practice space at my house in Cambridge, and like to practice a weekday evening once a month.
We are in the band for fun an all have full time day jobs, kids and various other commitments. Ideally looking for someone in the age range of 30-50. We want someone to join us that is in for the long haul.

I specialize in the "Bernie Taupin-style" partnership: I provide the conceptual and narrative foundation for your music so you can focus on the composition. Sometimes, even a single word can heighten the impact of an entire song. I write lyrics that respect your meter, protect your phrasing, and avoid the over-polished clichés of modern radio.

I’ve built a solid, cohesive catalog—these aren’t rough ideas; they are performance-ready pieces with tone, pacing, and delivery already established. I don’t sing (proficiently) or play, so I’m looking for a guitarist/vocalist who can help bring them to life.

I have a completed 8-song EP fully mapped out—following a specific conceptual arc. The structure and emotional "pulse" of the project are set; I just need the right hands and voice to execute the vision.

Donc si vous composez aussi ça serait super et on pourrait pratiquer et enregistrer ensemble pour ainsi faire des shows éventuellement.
Le style tournerait donc autour du rock, il y'a pas vraiment de style précis de rock. Mes compositions sont assez variées avec un style plus ou moins à moi. J'ai un bagage musical très varié aussi et pas seulement du rock que j'incorpore dedans quand bien me semble.
J'ai étudié en musique et j'ai un Bac de musique en composition. Donc si vous avez aussi étudié en musique c'est un gros plus (lire et connaître la théorie par exemple).

Dès sa création a l’hiver 2000, FOREVER BLACK n’a qu’un seul but : recréer sur scène l’âme de ces deux entités qui ont marquées des générations de musiciens depuis plus de 50 ans. Composée de Rock Potvin (voix), Patrick McNamara (guitare), Pierre Proulx (basse et voix) et Marc Vigneault (batterie), cette formation d’origine Sherbrookoise nous propose un retour aux racines du rock, dans un style puissant qui reste fidèle à l’image des années 1970 et 1980. Les membres de FOREVER BLACK ne se contentent pas de jouer Ozzy et Black Sabbath, ils nous submergent dans une atmosphère sombre et lourde, qui nous rappellent le côté théâtral du spectacle qui a fait la gloire des groupes culte du rock. Le répertoire de FOREVER BLACK comprend des pièces des 10 premières années de Black Sabbath, ainsi que des pièces de la carrière solo d’Ozzy Osbourne. Sa force de frappe tient beaucoup dans le choix de ses pièces musicales et dans la sincérité de leur interprétation.

My name is Amber and I am a vocal coach located in our beautiful Bracebridge/ Muskoka area. I specialize in a variety of techniques for singing, vocal health, building confidence, screaming for alternative genres, and performance anxiety. Kids, teens, and adults. All abilities are welcome.
I have 10+ years experience as a professional vocalist playing shows and festivals in Canada and the UK, seven years of private/ professional training, and I have been teaching full-time since 2021.
