Our family in Carp, Ontario is seeking a part-time, live-out family helper to assist with the running of our household. We are both working full-time (hybrid office/home) and find it challenging to keep up without help, and are therefore looking for a third adult to keep us all on track, on time, neat, tidy and organized. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of primary school age, and identifies as a neat-freak who loves to clean and organize.
As our helper, you would be responsible for providing care for our children after school (ages 4, 7 and 11), as well as helping with managing the many household tasks such as housekeeping/deep cleaning, laundry, and sometimes stepping in to help with errands, or to pick up or drop off children going to their activities. We are looking for someone who loves children, and enjoys keeping a household running like a well oiled machine.

The Crossing Resort is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor. Great opportunity for a qualified individual wanting seasonal work with winters off for travel. We are a family-owned resort located on Highway 93, approximately 80 kms from Lake Louise, AB consisting of a 65-room motel, a large Restaurant, Café, Pub, commercial kitchen, gas station and a general store. There are 45 associate dorm style rooms and 11 small cabins.
This role encompasses both a "hands on" approach as well as the supervisory component.

Key Responsibilities:
• Take direction from the maintenance Manager and in their absence, carry out the responsibilities of the manager.
• Responsible for the maintenance and repair in all venues, commercial and residential spaces.
Requirements: Experience in any of the following areas a definite asset, commercial kitchen repair, boilers, generator maintenance, plumbing and electrical.
• Must possess good decision-making skills.
• 1 - 2 years in residential and/or commercial maintenance experience preferred.
• Communication and interpersonal skills a necessity. Team player, fast learner and be mechanically inclined.
• Responsible for maintenance and repair in all Crossing venues, commercial and residential spaces.
• Possess some knowledge of HVAC systems, basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry skills.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license. Be prepared to provide a drivers abstract.
