Featuring eighteen beautifully scenic and challenging holes, Renfrew Golf Club has been the best golf experience in the Ottawa Valley since 1929. This beautiful, friendly, yet challenging, course lies in of the most scenic areas of the Ottawa Valley. There are many high viewpoints where you can view lush farmland, mature forests and the Bonnechere River watershed.
We are looking for reliable, hardworking, team players to join out maintenance crew starting in April/May and available into October. Full-time and part-time seasonal positions available.
Responsibilities:
Mowing turf, bunker maintenance, course set-up, etc.
Preparing the golf course for play everyday.
Maintain the golf course clean and free of debris.
Operate equipment and power tools, including utility vehicles, mowers and tractors.
Operation of irrigation system and hand watering.
Requirements:
Ability to work early mornings (5:00 AM).
Available to work required weekends and holidays.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Physically capable of completing required tasks.
Ability to complete tasks with particular attention to detail.
Previous Golf Course/Landscape experience is considered an asset but not required, training is provided with or without experience.
Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
Must have a valid Driver's License and the ability to arrive at work for 5:00 AM shifts.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Salary: From $16.55 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
