We are looking for reliable, hardworking, team players to join out maintenance crew starting in April/May and available into October. Full-time and part-time seasonal positions available.
Responsibilities:
Mowing turf, bunker maintenance, course set-up, etc.
Preparing the golf course for play everyday.
Maintain the golf course clean and free of debris.
Operate equipment and power tools, including utility vehicles, mowers and tractors.
Operation of irrigation system and hand watering.
Requirements:
Ability to work early mornings (5:00 AM).
Available to work required weekends and holidays.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Physically capable of completing required tasks.
Ability to complete tasks with particular attention to detail.
Previous Golf Course/Landscape experience is considered an asset but not required, training is provided with or without experience.
Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
Must have a valid Driver's License and the ability to arrive at work for 5:00 AM shifts.

Currently we have a job opening on our farm in Burdett were we grow cereals, dry beans and sugar beets under irrigation.
The work would include but not be limited to operating equipment such as tractors, trucks and various other farm machinery. Performing field work such as land preparation, seeding and harvesting. Preparing and maintaining equipment and trucks, and general yard work.
We are looking for a candidate with experience in this field. The candidate should have a minimum of a class 3 driver's licence, but class 1 would be preferred.

As a Heavy Duty Mechanic with Teck you are responsible for maintaining our diverse fleet of equipment including CAT 797's, D11's, 24M's, Komatsu 980E's, and potentially North America's only P&H 4800 shovel.
We offer the chance to live and work in the majestic Rocky Mountains, where year round recreational activities such as hunting, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, and biking are unlimited.
The position is located on-site at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C is necessary.
Our tradespeople work an attractive 4 x 4 or 8 x 8 days and nights shift schedule, allowing for plenty of work/life balance. - Base earnings include the hourly wage plus applicable shift premiums and will differ depending on location. It is calculated using a reasonably expected number of hours worked per year.
- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Perform duties that range from routine preventative maintenance to repairing major breakdowns, including troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Disassemble and reassemble components such as engines, transmissions, cooling systems, fuel and exhaust systems, breaks, clutches, differentials, hydraulics, electrical systems and lubrication systems
- Providing innovative solutions and best practices
- Diagnose, maintain and repair mobile off road mining equipment including haul trucks, graders, bulldozers, excavators, shovels, loaders, and other heavy equipment
- Working with brands including CAT, Komatsu, P&H, Hitachi, John Deere, Letourneau, Volvo, Marion upon others
- Willing to relocate near Sparwood, B.C.
- Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson’s Heavy Duty Mechanic or Heavy Duty Technician Certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Previous mining experience is an asset
