Hello.
I am a single mother of three children (age 7,5&4). I’m reaching out to try to get some food help. I went to the food bank and unfortunately I did not get very much. I am currently waiting to see if I can get approved for Social Assistance but in the meantime, I am in need of school snacks and cupboard foods. I am okay on meats as I was able to get to gateway. But things have been really tight with bills, Rent, etc. Anything helps, I have someone who can pick up for me if need be.

What is the study about?
Axem Neurotechnology is developing technology to make measuring brain activity more accessible and is looking for volunteers to test a brain activity feedback system.Who can participate?
Participants must be ≥18 years of age, must not have open wounds on their scalp and must not be legally blind.How long is the study?
The study involves completing 1 quality assessment lasting ~ 90 minutes. If qualified, participants will then attend 12 study sessions over the course of 3 weeks. Study session last ~45 minutes and involve performing a movement task while receiving brain activity feedback. You will receive a $15 honorarium each session you participate in.Where does the study take place?

Volunteering in the Rehabilitation and Health Clinic in Hveragerdi. This friendly little community sits on top of a highly active geothermal field which provides heat for hundreds of greenhouses where fruits, flowers and vegetables are produced throughout the year. Even bananas grow in these greenhouses! The name Hveragerði means "hot springs garden". Geothermal energy is Hveragerði’s lifeblood, and you probably won’t find such a natural wonder in the middle of a populated area anywhere else in the world. Nearby you will find an even more geothermally active site: Gufudalur, the lovely "Steam Valley" behind the town. This whole valley is full of hot springs, geysers, mud pots, fumaroles and steaming vents.
Main activities include but are not limited to: Agriculture (cultivating soil, planting, raising and harvesting crops), Horticulture (growing fruits, vegetables and plants), Renovation around the property. During winter, the work might include snowplowing.
The nature of the work depends largely on weather conditions, which can change quickly. Working hours are usually from 8 am to 3 pm with a coffee break in the morning and a one-hour lunch break.We will give special focus on global warming and workshops about climate change will take place in the late afternoon. Humanity must act in a more environmentally friendly way. The main goal of this project is to improve the environmental education and consciousness of the project participants. Within the project, we will learn about green energy, sustainable householding, waste treatment, nutrition, the effects of consumption and lots more. If we want to change something, develop solutions or inspire others, we must understand the issues and tasks first. Take part in this promising project and spring into action against climate change!

I do this for more productivity because this way I can prepare some notes in regards to that assignments ahead of time. My goal is to teach the actual concept to solve the problem, and this way students will be independent learners at some point. A good tutor would build the skill of becoming an independent learner, so that students would not need a tutor in the future. I have tutored students in the past and they started tutoring after a while, and that made me very happy.
Every student is different and some students want to actually learn the subject, some students want to just to get an A in the course, some students just want to pass the class. Some take online classes and just want to get an A in the course and move on with their life. I satisfy all their needs.I also do zoom sessions as well. Through zoom you only paying me 30 per hour, and no travel fees.

Do you take care of a child with 22q11 Deletion Syndrome?
We are starting a large study with the goal of involving 500 families living with 22q11DS. Specifically, we want to learn how patients and their families are feeling and what costs they experience while caring for a child diagnosed with 22q11DS. We will invite the families who are not doing well to test a novel online intervention that we designed to support the families. We hope that this novel online intervention can be a new accessible tool to further help families/caregivers raising a child with 22q11DS.
Please participate in our study if you meet the following criteria:

Can read and speak English, French, or German
Care for a child who has 22q11 Deletion Syndrome
Live in Canada, the United States, or Europe

Nous commençons une grande étude avec l'objectif d'impliquer 500 familles qui vivent avec le 22q11DS. Plus précisément, nous voulons savoir comment les patients et leurs familles se sentent et quels sont les coûts qu'ils rencontrent lorsqu'ils s'occupent d'un enfant affecté par la délétion 22q11DS. Nous inviterons les familles qui ont des difficultés à tester une nouvelle intervention en ligne que nous avons conçue pour soutenir les familles. Nous espérons que cette nouvelle intervention en ligne pourra devenir un nouvel outil accessible pour aider les familles et les soignants qui élèvent un enfant affecté par la délétion 22q11DS.
Veuillez participer à notre étude si vous satisfaites les critères suivants:
Avoir 18 ans ou plus
Savent lire et parler l’anglais, le français out l’allemand
S’occupent d’un enfant affecté par le syndrome de délétion 22q11
Vivent au Canada, aux Etats-Unis ou en Europe
