Volunteering in the Rehabilitation and Health Clinic in Hveragerdi. This friendly little community sits on top of a highly active geothermal field which provides heat for hundreds of greenhouses where fruits, flowers and vegetables are produced throughout the year. Even bananas grow in these greenhouses! The name Hveragerði means "hot springs garden". Geothermal energy is Hveragerði’s lifeblood, and you probably won’t find such a natural wonder in the middle of a populated area anywhere else in the world. Nearby you will find an even more geothermally active site: Gufudalur, the lovely "Steam Valley" behind the town. This whole valley is full of hot springs, geysers, mud pots, fumaroles and steaming vents.
Main activities include but are not limited to: Agriculture (cultivating soil, planting, raising and harvesting crops), Horticulture (growing fruits, vegetables and plants), Renovation around the property. During winter, the work might include snowplowing.
The nature of the work depends largely on weather conditions, which can change quickly. Working hours are usually from 8 am to 3 pm with a coffee break in the morning and a one-hour lunch break. We will give special focus on global warming and workshops about climate change will take place in the late afternoon. Humanity must act in a more environmentally friendly way. The main goal of this project is to improve the environmental education and consciousness of the project participants. Within the project, we will learn about green energy, sustainable householding, waste treatment, nutrition, the effects of consumption and lots more. If we want to change something, develop solutions or inspire others, we must understand the issues and tasks first. Take part in this promising project and spring into action against climate change!

Hi. I hope this works! Hi. I saw your cute little dog, a mostly black and white beagle, and you were so patient and decent. We started chatting and seemed to really hit it off, talking mostly about our pet histories, I mentioned my cat Lacey, and that we had a couple beagles growing up. You said that you would not let your pet be sent to another foster home-it would have been the fourth time. We chatted about cats and how it's not good to let them out to roam free. I mentioned that I had bought a long leash for my cat, and she just looked at me funny. You said as you were leaving that it was very nice talking to me, and I feel so foolish for not asking you if we might meet again sometime for a walk with your dog, if you would like. I thought about it a couple of times, I should have asked then and there, but I didn't, so I'm just trying this to see if we may meet again. Please contact me if by chance you see this message. I would love to talk with you again.

my father in law has gone through hell and back recently and now our family could really use help in this extremely difficult time he has a lengthy list of medical problems including diabetes, he also has something wrong in his back which causes him to not be able to feel his feet or really any pain that isn’t serious so this past year he cut his head and it got very badly infected from the diabetes and other medical issues fighting against him he was having to get the infection drained and there was lots of tests ran and come to find out he had a form of skin cancer he did receive some treatment for it but there was nothing more as of yet as a lot of you know our health care system is an absolute nightmare lately while he was dealing with this he stepped on a nail and had no idea for weeks and got this nasty infection in his foot after many weeks ups and downs he had to get his foot amputated. I’m looking for help to get him home from the hospital they won’t allow him to come home without a wheelchair ramp being built and proper hand railings installed in the house, we were quoted at 10,000 for the deck alone. If anyone could help or would be willing to help we would be forever grateful it would mean the world to our family. We have a go fund me page set up and also we will be doing various fundraisers to save money, if you’d like to contribute anything please reach out. Thank you so much for your time.

We learn and improve skills when we practice them. Practice can be done by physically repeating the task or by imagining task performance using a process called motor imagery (MI). Some of the evidence supporting motor imagery as a method for learning and practicing skills is that practice using motor imagery leads to the improved performance of a skill compared to no practice at all.
However, we are not sure how learning and practicing using motor imagery works and if the type of motor skill matters. It could be that certain motor skills are more effectively learned using motor imagery than other motor skills are. Luckily, brain activity can be measured and there is evidence to support that higher levels of measured brain activity suggest more motor learning is occurring and lower levels of measured brain activity mean less motor learning is occurring. The purpose of the current study is to examine if brain activity differs between different types of motor tasks when performing motor imagery. The information gathered in this study will further our understanding of how we learn motor skills and will help us design better training programs for sports, work skills, and rehabilitation.

Do you take care of a child with 22q11 Deletion Syndrome?
We are starting a large study with the goal of involving 500 families living with 22q11DS. We will invite the families who are not doing well to test a novel online intervention that we designed to support the families. We hope that this novel online intervention can be a new accessible tool to further help families/caregivers raising a child with 22q11DS.
Please participate in our study if you meet the following criteria:
Are 18 years of age or older
Can read and speak English, French, or German
Care for a child who has 22q11 Deletion Syndrome

SUMMER SPECIAL, 10 HOURS OF DRIVE INSTRUCTION FOR $350 TAKE YOUR DRIVING SKILLS TO AN ACCIDENT PROOF LEVEL !!! $35 PER HOUR
HOURLY RATE IS $45 FOR SINGLE LESSONS
i am a retire RCMP officer and i am offering driving lessons and instruction for anyone who wants to take their driving up to the next level. whether you are brand new to driving or have been driving many years, i can teach you the methods used by the RCMP in driving techniques that will keep you out of accidents.
i taught driver training for the RCMP as well as safety for high speed persuit encounters. i have been driving for 55 years and have NEVER been in an accident !! it is all about proper training to keep one out of trouble before it happens. driving is like a game of checkers as apposed to chess. most driving schools will teach you how to play driving checkers, what i will teach you is how to play driving chess. i guess it is up to you which one you want to learn ???
for new drivers i know most of the routes taken on your road test, and i also know exactly what they look for when it comes to either passing or failing on your road test. actually, 9 out of 10 drivers with a licence would not pass a road test if taken, as they have developed allot of bad habits that would prevent them from obtaining a licence.
i charge $35 an hour and i only do 2 hour sessions to maximize learning for the client. WE USE YOUR CAR AS I DONT HAVE INSURANCE ON MY VEHICLE FOR OTHER DRIVERS !! TOO EXPENSIVE !!!
i give a guarantee also. if you book a lesson with me and within the first hour of that trial lesson you dont feel that you are learning anything new then we shall call it a day with no charge !!!
if my instruction keeps you out of one fender bender accident the cost of the lessons are well paid for
thanks for ready and look forward to meeting with you
