Responsibilities
Operate service truck and service local calls in homes and businesses
Installation and repair of windows and doors in homes and businesses
Trouble shooting and on-site repair of product and installation of Glass
Handle on-site problems as they occur
Perform heavy lifting of glass
Organizing times and locations of work orders to minimize driving time around the city and maximize number of sited visited.
Maintaining and repairing service vehicle as required.
Drafting accurate and complete paperwork including the Service Summary Report to document repairs completed.
Represent the company in contacts with dealers, contractors and homeowners
Communication with customers, negotiating how costs of damaged products will be allocated and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
Expect 4-5 service calls daily
Comply with all Health & Safety regulations
Qualifications
This position requires a Class 5 drivers license in good standing; use of a company vehicle
You can confidently pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Testing
Previous experience in a similar role or industry is an asset including carpentry and construction experience
Mechanically inclined and able to work on scaffolding at heights over 12 feet
Ability to perform manual (hands-on) work that requires good dexterity and coordination skills great at communicating with others in both verbal and written format
Have a positive attitude, up beat energy and is comfortable to be trained on new processes

Position will require working overtime and short notice
You can meet the physical requirements and lifting of up to 60 pounds occasionally
