Position Summary:
We have permanent positions available, dependent on employee and company needs. Work assignments are based out of Grande Prairie, AB and will need to support other locations in Valleyview, AB, Falher, AB.

Key Responsibilities:
Able to drive, operate, and stage units to meet company and customer requirements.
Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work. practices, policies, and procedures while acting in a safe manner and fit for work with the ability to perform customer and post incident testing requirements.
Safety Sync Compliance
Pre-qualification certificates. First Aid, H2S, Fall Protection - ESC, Confined Space. Additional certificate requirements include: Ground Disturbance 201, CSTS2020, CSO and PSTS.
Hold a valid Class 3 driver license with less than 5 demerits.
Attend daily safety meetings, complete daily tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
Conduct safety and hazard awareness sessions to promote a safe working environment.
Follow and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency.
Performs pre and post trip inspections using electronic programs.
Assists with job site preparation, perform roadside repairs.
Maintains and updates driver’s logbook using electronic programs.
Communicates with dispatchers and supervisors throughout the day.
Continuous communication with all employees and customers in a respectful, friendly, and professional manner.

Duties:
- Operate a 3 Ton, single axel 6m³ pressure truck
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including OH&S and Alberta Traffic Act guidelines, to ensure a safe working environment
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate job efficiencies
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving on public roads
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles, such as checking tire pressure and fluid levels
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Valid Class 5 license with Q airbrake endorsement with a clean 3 year abstract
- H2S, First Aid required
- Proven experience operating commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Knowledge of proper loading and unloading procedures for hauling chemical
- Familiarity with TDG and WHMIS is a must
- Ability to read maps and navigate to various locations using GPS or other navigation tools
