As many know I lost my Mother to Cancer on May 5, 2018. I wanted to keep her memory alive and raise money for Cancer Research by holding a Pool Tournament each year in her name, but due to Covid I was unable to hold the 2nd annual one for her in 2020-21. Now that Covid restrictions have eased and there are no occupancy limit's at Dooly's, this years Event will be at Dooly's Portland St. location. Due to increased interest from last years event, I needed more space for the players to raise more money for The Canadian Cancer Society.
There will be many prizes / multiple 50/50 draws / auction items / payouts depending on number of players. I am donating $5.00 from each entry toward the Canadian Cancer Society and $5.00 goes to Dooly's for green-fee's for each table, the remaining money will be added and distributed to the winning players.
I hope to see you there and happy that Mom's event's are taking place again, even if you do not play just come by and show your support for a wonderful cause......Thank you.
Brian M. will be streaming to You tube again this year and will have the online donation app set up. Words cannot express how much I appreciate all the help/support I get with my Event's, you are all amazing.
You do not have to be a pool player to help with this Event, even dropping by to say hello and making a donation will mean the world.
You can also follow the event at: https://www.facebook.com/events/792349278979630/?acontext=%7B%22event_action_history%22%3A[%7B%22mechanism%22%3A%22your_upcoming_events_unit%22%2C%22surface%22%3A%22bookmark%22%7D]%2C%22ref_notif_type%22%3Anull%7DThe Canadian Cancer Society has created a direct donation link under the following address:

C.A. & Sonny are ripping through the East Coast this Spring to promote the release of their newest album; The C.A. & Sonny Show Vol. II. Armed with their arsenal of guitars, banjos, fiddles, and gags, the duo are leaving Ottawa to bring their nostalgic show through the Maritimes. Join them for an evening of foot-stompin', tear-jerkin', finger-pickin' good tunes on June 2nd.
Accompanying the duo in this show is their dear friend Sal, who they support every weekend in Ottawa at The Sunday Night Revue. Sal's mesmerizing songwriting is mixed with the classic sound of folk singers past, ringing through his voice and harmonica. He is truly a sight to be heard.
The show will also feature the ever wonderful McMillan's Camp Boys. Hailing from the Rocky Mountains of western Canada, The McMillan’s Camp Boys now call Nova Scotia home. Their wide repertoire of traditional country, bluegrass, and old-time music, as well as original songs, has been captivating audiences around the Maritimes and beyond.
