Hey blokes!
I am looking to form a band or few, which can be big-ish or small.I have a diverse taste in music, and so I am willing to delve into several ideas for genres. I would like to focus on metal/alt (Knocked Loose, Gojira, Thornhill, Turnstile, Loathe, Currents, Basement, Every Time I Die...), broadly RnB or Indie ( Hiatus Kaiyote, Anderson .Paak/Free nationals, Khruangbin..) or whatever you might want to experiment with! The crazier the idea the better. >:)
I play drums, piano/keys, guitar, bass, and starting vocals. I definitely bias towards metal or jazzy Rnb genre/songs, but I am quite open to what works in the setting.
I am looking for people who want to take this rather seriously, but still have fun and have shows in the future in mind.
Please feel free to message me and hopefully, we can start something wicked!

We are a group of guys in our 50's looking for a singer/front person for our band. You must be willing to commit 1 night a week for practice. If this seems like the right scenario for you, then please contact us.

We're a 4 piece rock band (late 20s and early 30s) looking for an experienced keys player with their own gear and preferably the ability to switch between piano, e-piano, organ, and synth when appropriate.
We are currently playing covers of a wide range of rock music from the last 40 years or so. Originals are slowly being introduced. We've been playing for about 9 months, so it isn't exactly a start up operation.
The ability to adapt to key changes and learning by ear is definitely an asset, but we are able to assist with chords etc…
Vocal ability desirable, but not essential.
Beginners need not apply.
Jam Space is in Rideau Heights. We practice once a week, usually on Sundays. Aiming to play Homegrown this May.
Please respond to this ad with a short bio, your influences, and audio or video samples if possible.
We’re eager to hear from you.

Cult famous goth/darkwave project looking for guitarist or multi-instrumentalist.
Almost zero money in it but we get to have fun and do cool stuff sometimes.
Please have a passport and some flexibility in your work routine to allow for that fun and cool stuff
And play really well

Singer needed for classic rock band. We are in our 50’s and looking for someone age appropriate with experience giging live. We have a fully equipped space and practice every Thursday (and have a light giging schedule). The right person should be from the Kingston/Napanee area so travel doesn’t become an issue. Cheers keep jammin

I have been playing drums for over 20 years. During that time, I've been fortunate to tour Canada and record a number of albums.
Over the last couple of years, I have started working as a session drummer, creating both programmed drum tracks and recording acoustic drum tracks. I find myself working mainly on rock/hard rock, pop, folk, singer-songwriter styles of music.
If you have some music that you are looking to add drums to, feel free to reach out and we can discuss! Fees vary depending on what you are looking for.
For audio samples, please check out this link - there is a 5 minute mp3 that has a mix of songs that I've performed on with various styles and studio setups : https://soundbetter.com/profiles/489892-mike-hogg-(drums)
I would be happy to provide references for my work.

I inherited an extensive library of great classical music recordings and have a Thorens turntable, NAD CD player, Quad electrostatic speakers, and a Bose bluetooth speaker. I am interested in meeting people who would like to listen to these recordings with me occasionally over coffee or tea. I have a spreadsheet listing the recordings which could be used as a resource. My experience in classical music includes grade 5 piano, a year of flute, and many years of solo and choral singing. Please contact me if you are interested.

We are a group of guys in our 50's looking for a singer/front person for our band. We primarily play 60's-80's classic rock. But are open to working with a new singer to round out our song list. Including some country and working on original content. You must be willing to commit 1 night a week for practice. The goal for us is to have fun and relieve some of life's stresses with no drama. Playing out live as the opportunities work for all members of the band. If this seems like the right scenario for you, then please contact us.

Good evening, Despite in-person lessons are much better, I'm offering online sessions as well. Look forward to talking with you!
My name is Dearian Seepersad, I'm a Music Teacher, Performer, and Composer. For the last 5 years I've been performing all over the GTA, including: festivals; pride, multi-cultural, afro-fest, private functions, restaurants, bars, and producing my local show while producing tracks for local Toronto artists. This year, I'm building my independent music school from my home studio. (Big Project!) Too often, I hear about beginner students horror stories about learning in the classical vein or the lack of purpose in general lesson plans. My focus is to create a unique lesson plan for each student to maximize efficiency while incorporating my teaching style into the plan. I incorporate musical expression, technique, and theory into each lesson while taking we've learnt and reworking it into something original. Composition being the ultimate goal; as we learn a lot quicker thinking for ourselves. There are no limitations, I've taught and performed in many genres: Classical, Jazz, Rock,Pop,Reggae, Blues, Hip-hop, Gospel, Fusion, the list goes on... So who am I? I'm a 24 year old musician who's extremely passionate about ALL music. - Completed 3 years Mohawk College Applied Music program. - 5 years teaching experience. (Includes leading band rehearsal and performances) - Developed and promoted shows - Constantly studying the scripts of the great classical composers. - Most important: Patient and Understanding. The lessons I'm offering are: Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Recording, and Drums. (Drums taught by another teacher) We will discuss: Structure (Form), Harmony, Melody, Counterpoint, Sightreading and Improvisation while meeting the technical demands of instrument.
Each lesson will be 30 - 45 minutes with the option to have the lesson at your location/home. My rates are fair and negotiable. We all have our lives and circumstances going on; it's okay. Feel free to respond to this ad, call or text: 647-294-0493. (I'm quite busy, if you text the instrument you wish to learn, I'll call as soon as I'm available)
Thanks for reading, I hope we chat soon! "Music is the mediator between the spiritual and sensual life" - Ludwig Van Beethoven.
