CALLING ALL PEOPLE LIVING IN CANADA WHO HAVE BEEN PRESCRIBED AN ANTIDEPRESSANT! Mad in Canada has created a short survey aimed at shedding light on the informed consent process experienced by adults who are living in Canada, and who have been prescribed antidepressants at some point in their life. Our survey is not about whether people should or should not take antidepressants. It’s about what people are being told about the potential effects of antidepressants, when they are prescribed. If anyone in the great KW area happens to find a gold necklace with Leah plated in gold and diamonds on the L, I would be forever grateful to you. The gold was melted down from my grandmother's jewelery and the diamonds we hers as well. It was a gift from my dad for my daughter. I was to wear it until she was old enough to be gifted with it. I don't even know when I lost it. Please share
Still looking, will never stop.

Composer and multi instrumentalist based in the Waterloo area looking for a serious drummer to help build a new original project.
The music is composition driven and built around intentional structures, alternate tunings, and a strong focus on rhythm, atmosphere, and dynamics. The drummer plays a central role in the architecture of the music and the overall feel of the project.
Rhythmic influences include players like Jaki Liebezeit, Stephen Morris, and Justin Peroff. The approach values groove, restraint, and playing in service of the composition.
Looking for someone with strong timing, musical awareness, and a genuine commitment to creating something meaningful.
Music can be heard here

Solo release (these are demos with unfinished drum work, do not reference, or listen with your own drum ideas in mind)
If the music resonates with you and you take your craft seriously, send a message and tell me a bit about yourself.

Band jam located in Shakespeare, ON looking for vocalist to add to the mix. P.A. and mics are on site - but if you have your own mic then bring it.
Obviously your own transportation is a must. Shakespeare google maps link:
https://maps.app.goo.gl/BnXijMFfZPiLT8pn7?g_st=ac
Genres are mainly punk songs but with some metal tunes thrown in. Guitar sound is a very thrash metal edge. We are adding in "punked up" versions of non-punk tunes into the fold. This is not a "soft" pop punk band.
We are looking to play live gigs eventually. This is more than just a "for fun" jam.
Setlist:
Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Dead Boys/Hard Core Logo - Sonic Reducer
Gary Numan/NIN - Cars
Headstones - Tweeter and Monkey Man
Metallica - Last Caress
Motörhead - Ace of Spades
Nena - 99 Red Balloons
Ramones - Blitzkreig Bop
Ramones - Do You Wanna Dance
Rolling Stones - Paint It Black

Electric Crush, a local Classic Rock Cover Band seeking lead guitarist!!! Lineup includes a female lead singer that also plays keys and rhythm guitar, a bassist and drummer. We perform typically a couple times a month, sometimes a little more, at various venues, and our repertoire includes intricate songs that go beyond the usual cover band setlists. And can be found here:
https://electriccrush.wixsite.com/electriccrush/music
We're seeking a guitarist with a great tone, lots of energy and stage presence, who is proficient in playing complex classic rock and pop tunes, available for monthly rehearsals in Cambridge. We're a fun, dedicated group that loves making music together. You'll get to play songs that challenge your skills and stand out from the crowd, with regular gigs at popular venues.
We will travel approx 2 hours out of town for gigs - We are at Bowmanville Ribfest this year, and one of our favourite spots is Twisted Arm in Sarnia. We also play regularly at Sherkston Shores and have two gigs lined up there for this summer.
We have a number of gigs lined up and can likely fill the void with other guitarists while we get someone up to speed. We have a practice space at my house in Cambridge, and like to practice a weekday evening once a month.
We are in the band for fun an all have full time day jobs, kids and various other commitments. Ideally looking for someone in the age range of 30-50. We want someone to join us that is in for the long haul.
I've added links to our website that includes our set list, upcoming gigs, and various regular locations that we play, Youtube has a lot of our videos, and I've added our social links.
Please reach out if this seems like the right spot for you!!!
We will not be auditioning everyone, so please send some videos or music that you have available and we can discuss further.

YOU HAVE THE SOUND. NOW, GIVE IT SOMETHING TO SAY.
Many talented musicians find themselves stuck at the "final mile"—turning a melody into a finished song with lyrics that carry actual weight. I am a dedicated lyricist and song architect.
I specialize in the "Bernie Taupin-style" partnership: I provide the conceptual and narrative foundation for your music so you can focus on the composition. Sometimes, even a single word can heighten the impact of an entire song. I write lyrics that respect your meter, protect your phrasing, and avoid the over-polished clichés of modern radio.
HOW WE WORK:
— WORD-FIRST: I provide finished lyrics and themes for you to set to music.
— MELODY-FIRST: You send a scratch track, and I build a lyrical world to fit the cadence and "drive" of the track.
— STRUCTURAL POLISH: For songs that are "off-spec" and need a thematic overhaul or tighter syllabic work.
THE AESTHETIC:
My writing is raw, authentic, and grounded. My recent work on my 8-song EP, "AS IS. For parts.", focuses on character and grit over radio-friendly gloss. I bring that same "parts-and-all" honesty to every collaboration.
THE PARTNERSHIP:
I provide master lyrics by hand to ensure the cadence and "shine" of the story are preserved. If you want to feel the rhythm, you have to read the ink.
I’m looking to work with serious local musicians, bands, or composers in the K-W area who want to elevate their material to a release-ready standard.
LET'S SEE IF THE STYLES CLICK. Contact me with a link to your music or a brief description of your project.
Cheers!

I write original songs rooted in working-class themes, lived experience, and strong narrative structure. Think classic Outlaw Country meets stripped-down Modern Rock.
I’ve built a solid, cohesive catalog—these aren’t rough ideas; they are performance-ready pieces with tone, pacing, and delivery already established. I don’t sing (proficiently) or play, so I’m looking for a guitarist/vocalist who can help bring them to life.
The Project:
I have a completed 8-song EP fully mapped out—following a specific conceptual arc. The structure and emotional "pulse" of the project are set; I just need the right hands and voice to execute the vision.
The Vibe:
Honest, gritty, and no-frills.
If you:
• Play regularly and understand "feel" over flash
• Like building something from a strong lyrical foundation
• Value a "stripped-down" sound over overproduction
...we’ll get along just fine.
Ownership & Splits:
I’m looking for a true collaborator, not a session player. Full co-writing credits and 50/50 royalty splits are standard for this project. If we track these and they move, we both win.
No pressure—I'm looking for the right creative "click" to see where this goes, whether it's demos or beyond.
If you’re even a little curious, reach out, and I’ll happily send you the project summary and some lyrics to read.
Cheers!
