Lethbridge School Division is accepting applications for a full-time Head Caretaker position. A Head Caretaker is responsible for all aspects of the Caretaking Operation at the school site, which includes completing all duties assigned to a caretaker including maintaining the cleanliness of the school. As the designated leader the Head Caretaker must be able to communicate and interact positively with students, co-workers, and school administration to ensure all needs are addressed at the school site. Besides the list of duties and responsibilities it is expected the Head Caretaker demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of cleaning and preventative maintenance functions. The Head Caretaker must be able to complete all working functions to a high degree of satisfaction. The work may require strenuous physical effort in completion of duties alongside of Caretakers. Under the supervision of the Principal the Head Caretaker will work primarily on the day shift, however there are circumstances where you are expected to work the evening shift. It is understood that the Head Caretaker is to take an active role in the cleaning of the facility on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis. Chinook High School - 1 Position - Hours: 8 hours per day/40 hours per week - commencing immediately
Note: you may be reassigned to other locations based on Division needs.
**In order to meet school needs, staff will be required to rotate between evening and day shifts. In addition, Rotation Shifts with the Head Caretaker and caretaking staff must occur during the school year between September and June. Division requirements for rotation shifts are as follows:
Secondary Schools: Six (6) weeks equaling 240 hours per year
Elementary Schools: Four (4) weeks equaling 160 hours per yearPlease note that only those selected for further consideration will be contacted regarding an interview.

Mandatory Qualifications:
-Grade 12 or equivalent
-Effective and proven supervisory and leadership skillsAdditional Qualifications, Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
-A proven and demonstrable record of leadership and supervisory ability in a facility management setting
-Proven public relations skills and demonstrated ability in promoting and maintaining effective working relations with public, students, co-workers, school staff, administration, and division officials
-Excellent communication skills both in written and oral formats
-Demonstrated ability to keep records and fill out required division forms and paper work. Computer literacy could be an asset in this area
-Strong organizational skills and the ability to make adjustments to daily routine, as conditions require for both day and evening shiftsFitness and Abilities:
-Able to stand or walk for extended periods
-Able to lift and carry up to 22 kg independently and 22-31.5 kg with assistance
-Able to work in a highly active physical environment
-Able to work with a variety of chemicals
-Must be physically capable of performing heavy manual labour for extended periods of time under various weather conditionsAssets:
-Valid ABSA 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate, equivalent or willingness to obtain
-Experience in a school setting as a Head Caretaker or Assistant Head Caretaker
-Experience in plant maintenance operation, in cleaning methods and procedures, heating and ventilation operation, building security, and minor repairsConditions of Employment

Veteran’s Memorial Campground
The Veteran’s Memorial Campground is situated adjacent to the beautiful Pincher Creek in the Town of Pincher Creek. It has 8 fully serviced campsites with Sewer, Water, and power, 11 sites with power, and multiple tenting sites available, each site is provided with a picnic table and fire pit. There is also a shower/washroom building, potable water outlet, sewage dumping station, and covered camp shelter, and free Wi-Fi. The campground is located to the following amenities: Indoor Swimming Pool/Slide and Hot Tub, Spray Park, Tennis Courts, Bike/Skate Park, Municipal Library, Kootenai Brown Pioneer Museum, 9-Hole Golf Course, Bowling, Skating Arena, multiple shopping and eating establishments, and an excellent network of Trails. The Town of Pincher Creek is centrally located to several popular tourist destinations including (but not limited to) Waterton Lakes National Park, Frank Slide, Head Smashed in Buffalo Jump, Castle Provincial Park and Castle Mountain Ski Hill.
Responsibilities include:
• Receiving calls and booking reservations at the Campground.
• Cleaning of Washroom, shelter facilities and camp sites.
• Accepting Cash, debit, and credit Card payments.
• Selling and ordering Firewood
• Providing patrons with an enjoyable atmosphere at the Campground and be knowledgeable on all local events.
• Be available at the Campground 24/7 (or make alternate arrangements) to take drop-in reservations, and answer questions from people staying at the Campground.
• The successful host will be responsible for providing their own accommodation/trailer.
• Reservations will be accepted by a phone provided to the host starting in February. The campground will be open to the public from May 15-September 30 each year (weather dependent).

Reporting to the Director of Inclusive Education and Early Childhood Coordinator, the successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to address barriers to participation and learning and promote the success of all children and students from Early Education to grade 12. This position follows the assigned Speech Language Pathologist calendar that provides time off during some non-instructional student days and approximately 6 weeks during the summer.Please note that only those selected for further consideration will be contacted regarding an interview.
Speech-Language Pathologist will:
-Deliver a continuum of support within the division’s Response to -Instruction and Intervention framework (RTI2)
-Provide universal strategies to support all students in inclusive classrooms
-Facilitate, through play, the development of age-appropriate skills
-Based on a referral system, provide student-specific assessment and therapeutic programming
-Administer, score and interpret standardized assessments
-Complete assessment and treatment reports and year-end summaries
-Provide recommendations for universal, targeted and specialized services based on data gathered
-Collaborate with other therapists/specialists occupational therapist, behaviour) to support student development
-Participate as a member of the Learning Team to develop, facilitate, and monitor student program plans and successful transitions

We are currently looking for a quick-learning, tech-savvy, electrically inclined individual who is eager to learn about the solar industry, to join our team as our Operational Coordinator / Technical Support Technician.
The position’s main duties include but are not limited to:
Communicating with solar system installers in Canada and the USA to address technical issues they face during the installation process. (product-specific training provided)
Conduct training webinars and assist with answering technical questions.
Diagnose and repair any in-house IT issues with hardware/software within our own office.

The main goal of this study is to investigate how different types of couples’ behaviors influence change in eating and physical activity behaviors over time.
Participation in our study involves completing questionnaires and participate in a discussion task.
