First of all, this fundraiser is completely set-up and just requires your organization or group to get participants.
Fundraisers can come in many forms. Tournaments, garage sales, food sales, galas, or anything that the organization or group wants to rally their supporters around. We have developed a fundraiser and have the support of some of the largest businesses in London. They are wanting to support any charity, non-profit organization or social group within London, ON.
As a fundraiser each participant will pay a small $5 fee to participate in each event we have planned. The fee is the charity's, non-profit organization's or social group's way of raising money. In exchange for the paid fee, the participant will have a chance to win up to over $1000 in prizes that are donated for each event. We will have over 30 events starting April 21, 2024 and continuing until December 1, 2024. Participants can participate in one of the events or all of the events, while helping raise money for their favourite charity, non-profit organization or social group.
Each event is a walking event and will be held at malls, golf courses, neighbourhoods and other significant locations in London, ON. The events will track the total number of steps a participant takes in support of their favourite organization. The organizations raise money for each event but the total steps taken are important because the organization that achieves the most steps taken by their supporters will receive a big bonus at the conclusion of the series of walks. Every step counts. Every step contributes to achieving the big bonus.

Looking for participants with or without ADHD between the ages of 8 to 12 years old. We are investigating the effects of physical activity on brain function. Participants will be excluded if they are not fully literate and/or do not speak English, if they have any neurological or developmental exceptionalities above and beyond ADHD, and if they are colorblind.
The study will be conducted at Western University in the Faculty of Education building. Compensation will be provided to both parents and children.
