The Duck&Dodo is looking for an enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our growing Duck&Dodo community! As a sales associate you will enjoy working with our local small businesses, and our wonderful customer base. The position is equally about creating the perfect Duck&Dodo experience for our customers, and also day to day administrative tasks that ensure the Duck&Dodo moves along smoothly.
Responsibilities and Duties
Ensure our customers have a positive and lasting impression of their experience
Welcoming, engaging and connecting with our customers in-store, by phone and online
Learning and educating about makers’ products and sharing your expertise with customers
Assisting customers locate and select products by making customer specific suggestions to encourage product purchases
Resolving issues effectively at store level in a timely and positive manner
Processing point of sale transactions quickly and accurately
Ensuring the store is visually appealing and contributes to the Duck&Dodo standards through product presentation, replenishment, store housekeeping, store maintenance and visual displays
Responsible for store opening/closing
Work the vendors in the store to ensure their items are stickered correctly, and payouts are handed out.
Educating yourself on our products, and small businesses we have in our store
actively working in our social media platforms, and website product management
Qualifications
some experience in customer service.

Experience with the shopify website, and POS platform
knowledge of the instagram platform would be an asset
