Food Truck Kitchen Crew – $18 to $22 per Hour + Tips Tot Wheels
Description
Tot Wheels is looking for a part time food truck crew member for the 2026 season in Winnipeg.
We operate a busy food truck serving hand rolled tater tots, smash burgers, and fried chicken sandwiches at festivals, events, and corporate lunches throughout the city. We are looking for someone reliable who can help cook, serve customers, and work as part of a small team on the truck.
Pay
$18 to $22 per hour depending on experience
Plus tips
Free food and drinks during shifts
Hours
Approximately 20 to 30 hours per week during the season.
Hours vary depending on events and bookings.
Most shifts are evenings and weekends, with some daytime corporate events.
Start Date
Cleaning and prep shifts will begin in late March as we prepare for the season and our health inspection.
Our first events start mid April.
Responsibilities
Cooking menu items on the truck
Serving customers at the window
Food prep and cleaning
Helping with event setup and teardown
Working in a fast paced food truck environment
Requirements
Valid driver’s license
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
Comfortable speaking with customers
Reliable and punctual
Able to work evenings and weekends
Food service experience is an asset.
Experience driving a trailer is a bonus but not required.
This job involves working in a hot, busy food truck during events, so you must be comfortable staying active and working with a team.
We are a small team, so reliability and showing up on time for scheduled shifts is extremely important. We depend on every team member to be there when expected.
