Duties include dishwashing (washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils), kitchen and work station cleaning, and general kitchen support. At the beginning, dishwashing will be the main duty. As you learn the job, you will gradually be trained to do vegetable preparation, ingredient prep, frying (tempura), and simple cooking tasks.
You will also help with restocking supplies, taking out garbage, and maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness. During busy hours, you will assist the sushi chef and support kitchen operations.
This is a part-time position at the beginning. If you learn quickly and are able to handle kitchen duties independently, a full-time position may be available.
