Job Description:SUMMARY The Sales Specialist is responsible for selling modular and manufactured homes, as well as other products provided by Gordon’s Homes Sales and all of the EC Group, such as PacRim Log Structures, Mini Built Structures, Site preparation services and possible leads to commercial projects.. They will work with the customers to find what they want, create solutions, and ensure a smooth sales process that is quick and easy. They will have excellent product knowledge and take a sale from start to closing and will promote the use of Ecklundson Construction for site works and management of projects. The ideal candidate should be dynamic, motivated and great at providing guidance/advice to the sales team on ways to improve their performance. They will achieve their objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing data on past performance, and projecting future performance that can be measured. They work cooperatively with the team to maximize Sales team potential, crafting sales plans and justifying those plans to upper management. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESGreet customers in a friendly, meaningful and open mannerReview product with customersBe able to complete a full sales cycle with a client, design changes to home, home selections, pricing using a custom, on-line program, through to contract signatureBe aware of what is required to accommodate the product: site preparation, utilities etc. and be able to accurately advise the client.Promote Ecklundson and Gordon’s as a team for the purchaseBe able to ascertain if a home will fit on a siteSchedule site visits and appointments keeping Management informed of scheduleAnswer incoming calls with an enthusiastic and comfortable approachWork cooperatively with all other Divisions within EC Group of companies and utilize what they are good at to maximize the sales specialist performance or shortcomings.Provide weekly sales updates. Meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals, achieving growth and sales targetsWork with management to set sales goals, including marketing.Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products, innovation and competition status. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTDedication to providing great customer service.Ability to lead a sales team in an enthusiastic and charismatic manner.Successful previous experience as a sales representative, consistently meeting or exceeding targetsCommitted to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferencesProven ability to drive the sales process from plan to closeExperience in planning and implementing sales strategies that can be measured and improvedExperience in customer relationship management.Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organizationStrong business sense and industry expertiseExcellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills with a strong desire to succeed and excel!
