Starting a band that is heavy as Burzum, the intensity of Mayhem live, and Marduk but at the same time has beautiful, melodic moments as well. I have two albums written at the moment, I just need a drummer and bass player. I hope to hear from you soon, and we can record some albums and play some shows!

Do you play keys?
Oh! No! Vertigo is looking for a keyboard player who:
-Has an appreciation for groove-heavy genres like funk, afrobeat, and reggae.
-Is willing to rehearse weekly and collaborate on original material
-Can improvise over chord progressions (with some jazzy chords)
-Isn’t financially dependent on gigging
-Lives nearby (Wolfville, Kentville, etc.)
We’re not necessarily looking for a full-time professional musician. Several of us have day jobs, so we're more available for gigs on Friday evenings, weekends, and during the summer.

I’m a lead guitarist jamming with another few musicians in the area. We play covers and originals in hard rock, older metal, blues and softer rock, some country rock influences as well.
We are in the Lunenburg county but could get around into other jam areas. Looking to work towards playing open mics, gig and record songs.
It’s also cool if you can play guitar as well as sing (or any instrument)

Hi there. Looking for like minded bassist to jam with drummer and I.
I have a music room with drums set up.. hoping to do a three piece band. The goal is to find a bassist who knows their gear and can get a good tone.. more of a blues based pentatonic style rock-hard rock focus, electric guitars, amp on edge of breakup +.. most interested in having fun creating new material, however we are jamming some blues based cover tunes.. blue shuffle-Stevie Ray, straight blues - zeppelin, Rory Gallagher, etc.... jam once per week.. ish. Maybe play a gig once in a while.. Give me a shout if it sounds like a fit.. thanks!

Hey, I’m looking to get back in the music scene locally. Duo / Trio stuff, some David Gilmore, hip, Hendrix, list goes on and on. Looking for another guitarist or string player. Vocals an asset but not necessary. All you need is a great attitude and a desire to play some great music. I have a jam space and gear. Cheers

I posted this a long time ago and all I got were offers for guitar lessons and people who wanted to practice for weekend gigs. That is NOT what I am looking for!! I have tinnitus, vision problems and memory issues, so I want to avoid learning anything complicated. What I want is to FEEL the music again...that rush you get from jamming out with like-minded musicians.
I'm old and my skill level is quite basic at this point. I can play simple bass and rhythm guitar for the enjoyment of it. I enjoy a wide range of musical styles, so I don't care what genre we play as long as it's fun....rock, blues, metal, country, folk, bluegrass....it's all good to me! I can jam the range of Wagon Wheel to Enter Sandman...we can even combine songs for interesting results, if you are so inclined...lol
I live in the South Shore area, and not looking to do any city traveling, so prefer the local area. Let me know what you have in mind, thanks!

Looking for equally experienced and/or confident players. Not super interested in pre-Aenima stuff, but maybe a couple songs. I’d be totally into playing some shows upon getting things down.

Hi! I'm a bass player in his early 30s (19 years on bass) looking for a new project. I'm currently playing in a semi-active punk/noise band (Drug Church/Idles/QOTSA type stuff) but have played in dance/pop, metal and indie rock bands too. I'm kind of new to HRM, and open to a lot of styles. I don't wanna join a cover band. I live in Dartmouth and don't have a rehearsal space.
Reach out if you've got a project in mind or just wanna jam.

Hi, my name is Kaiden and I'm a 20 year old female vocalist who has been performing at karaoke and open mics for 6 months. I specialize in Evanescence, Paramore and A7x. I have a really nice growl going for me with a scarily similar voice to Amy Lee. with the growl it's the same style as Phil Anselmo's, making Pantera, A7x & Metallica a crowd favorite. Looking for a band to adopt me or to start one with people.

I'm a 36 year old bassist looking for a drummer located on the eastern shore. I'm not far from the library in Musquodoboit Harbour, and I'd like to keep it local-ish...say between Lake Charlotte and Porter's Lake. I get burnt out driving to town for music!
I'd like to write some heavier music for bass and drums, maybe do a little yelling/singing. If you can sing too, that's great! I'm mostly just looking to fart around and have some fun, maybe gig eventually. Could be the move, I don't know.
I have lots of experience, a wide range of musical interests, and some pretty cool gear. Give me a reason to haul my big amp out of the house lol.
