Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and meal assembly, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for taste and presentation.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure safe food handling.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal assembly processes.
Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
