Whinnie is a 7 year old blonde 35” miniature mare, she is halter broke and leads well. Could use some work on a lead but she does well. She’s had 2 foals previously with no issue.
Cruz is a 4 year old black 38” miniature gelding. He is halter broke and leads very well. He loves to be brushed & pampered.
These two are so lovely- They are bonded and have to stay together. They are part Shetland pony
They are great with kids/ other animals.
Winnie would make a great driving pony with further development in a harness. Both are sound and in good health. Cruz is great with the farrier, Whinnie could use some work.

Okay folks, what better way to say “ I love my kids “ than this fuzz ball package with long ears ?
Chicken Nugget ( Named by my four year old ) Is a tiger spotted wooly standard ( Should mature 38-40”) He comes from a genetic line of calf breaking donkeys from the states. Would be a nice addition to an on going breeding program looking for some new genetic diversity and colour. He has nice bone mass and proportionate.
These are not adult riding sized animals
He was born early September of 2025 this guy never missed a milestone. He is handled daily, up to date on deworming and just had his feet trimmed.
He is correct, solid and has hair for days on end. He needs his face hair trimmed once and awhile!
He stands good tied, leads and good with his feet.
Please keep in mind when looking into getting donkeys that they do best with other donkeys before horses
He can be gelded by my vet before leaving at buyers expense.

Meet Poppy!
Poppy is a one year old (born March 18, 2025) full hackney filly. Poppy is available for someone that is looking for a forever partner to bring along themselves. She is halter broke, well mannered, stands tied and good for the farrier and vet.
Poppy is out in a mixed herd, and gets along with just about everyone. She is currently standing at 12.1 hh, but should mature between 15-15.2 hh.
Poppy’s dam and sire were both registered hackneys, however we don’t know much beyond that as she was rescued as a one month old orphan. She was bucket fed formula as a baby, but raised with another mare and foal so learned herd skills and behaviour from that mare who mothered her like her own.

Meet Piper!
Piper is a coming one year old (born march 24, 2025) hackney x Clydesdale filly. Piper is halter broke, easy to catch, stands tied, and is great for the farrier and vet.
Piper unfortunately does have some conformation flaws in her hind end, which started as a newborn and has slowly improved over the first year of her life with a regular trimming schedule. She would make an exceptional addition to a family looking for a baby to raise and bond with as a pleasure riding or trail horse. Piper is very level headed, well mannered and gentle natured, especially for a young filly.
We unfortunately don’t know who Piper’s sire was, though we have strong reason to believe he was a Clydesdale. Her dam is still on site, and is a Hackney cross. Piper is currently standing around 12.2 hh, but should mature right around 16 hh.
She is currently located at our rescue near Goderich, and is available for 1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ for a forever home. This girl really has a lot to offer her people, and we have been so grateful to watch her grow up and come into her own over the past year. Hi, I have a gelding I would consider selling to the right home. He is a 2014 and about 15.2hh with a solid build. I have used him for barrel racing and pole bending but he’s starting to need more maintenance to be a top contender. Recently had his teeth, shots, and injections to keep him feeling good. Currently wearing front shoes. He’s good to trail ride alone or in a group. He will be the leader as he is a fast walker and can have some go when asked. His only quirk on the trail is bridges, he is not a fan of them but if another horse goes he will follow. Has never lived with cows but just stares at them. Has done it all from overnight camping to rodeos. Not for a beginner rider.

RSV Mousey Onyx (Mouse) is an 8 year old, 16 hand, Friesian Sporthorse Gelding located in Essex MA. Get noticed with this fancy guy. He has a smooth trot and a wonderful canter. He works well into the connection and does basic lateral work. He is good in the country in a group and will start jumping soon. He has great feet and is barefoot. No vices. Mouse is a blank slate with the balance and temperament to go in any direction.

Meet Piper. I’ve only had her for about 3
months with no background info on her.
Kijiji has helped me with some info on her.
She’s an 8 year old ( almost 9 ) thoroughbred mare. She’s apparently previously suffered a knee slab fracture. I’ve ridden her daily, up to 6 hours a day, running included and no heat/swelling or lameness has happened in the knee.
But I’d like to find this sweet girl a good home. Light riding, no career for her obviously.
She has been a pleasure of a trail horse. She will do anything you ask. I ride her with a side pull hack, bareback or western saddle. I will say she should go to a confident rider as she does have some pep to her. She ties, picks up feet but isn’t a big fan of loading into a trailer. Some patience and consistency will get her there tho.
I’m heartbroken to sell her but I have to do to financial reason - truck repairs unfortunately.
Im hoping to find her a great home with someone who will enjoy her as much as I have.

Lincoln is an aged personable quarter horse..Very quiet, literally pigs can walk past him..Last year I used him in the riding school but he wasn't really working out well so I rode him about 10 times and then took him in a Silver Dressage Show at the Training Level and received qualifying scores for the Silver Dressage Championships. Since then, I have found and resolved his issues. His muscles were really tense and he needed both massages and daily stretches to return to his good humour. His natural good paces (but very bouncy) and frame make him perfect for Training Level Dressage with a rider who doesn't want to do a lot of drilling and time for only a few rides per week. I have a video from a riding lesson today but for some reason I can't upload it now. Located at a small private stable near Lansdowne and Gananoque.

Meet Carl, she is a 14 year old QH style horse. 14’3 sticked. Carl was underweight when she came to us. She has been gaining weight nicely. As she still has some more to put on, I will gladly do so if no one is wanting her. She is difficult to deal with but once she’s comfortable with you she gets better. I would like her to go to a home with no riding as she deserves retirement. She was a broodmare prior to coming to me. Was supposed to be broke to ride but untouched for a long time. I’m taking a loss with my price. Price is to just ensure a good home. 1500. Will send my feed plan that I do with her as well. If I could keep her I would but I have had rough pregnancy so far and wanting to downsize. Not in a rush to sell her as I enjoy her company brushing her outside and in her stall. Grain 2x daily and 24/7 access to hay. Inside for nighttime and turned out daily. She will be unsure for the first few days with you, but she will warm up and be a great companion for your horses, or even yourself. She currently babysits my two year olds for me and she does a wonderful job. She is not nasty, mean, just scared. She deserves the best home with someone who is patient with her as I have been. This grade bay mare would make a great youth horse with some more training. My teens have rode her in the round pen and out on a trail. She's green but safe, nothing nasty, never bucked, reared or bolted. Has sat for a year and hopped back on her with no issues, she offered nothing bad, rode out in the open field with no worries. Farrier said her feet are good just need regular trims as they were long when i got her. Never been lame and has a good brain, eager to learn. She is clean in a stall (makes her worth more lol) does well with mares or geldings, lower on the pecking order. Would go good in any direction, cute western horse or take her English and jump her, she jumped a gate here once and it was beautiful to watch. She's not spooky whatsoever, could make a cute cow horse as she loves to track things. No test rides as i have nowhere safe to ride right now. She has sat since last year. She's got a cute personality and has learned to have manners since coming to the farm. Can live out with a blanket or inside, she does great with both. We make our own custom feed, but just a simple mash keeps her fat.
My loss, as she's a great little horse. I don't have time for her with a new baby and a job that has demanding hours and i have to many other green horses who need worked.
Have to stick her but i believe she is about 14.3 Vet checks welcome.

Bentley has shown successfully in the Modified pony division in 2023 ending the season first over all in his division. He showed Prelude 2024 finishing 2nd over all in cross rails. Bentley showed Prelude 2025 in the Modified Pony & 2 foot finishing 3rd over all in Modified & 7th over all in 2 foot. He has attended Ontario Fall Finals 3 years in a row with ribbons every year.

Hi everyone!
I’m looking for 1 or 2 students interested in starting weekend bi-weekly horseback riding lessons beginning in mid March/April, with the opportunity to extend into weekly beginning in May or June.
This would be the perfect opportunity for anyone who isn’t quite sure if this is for them, someone who can’t quite make the every week commitment right now but would still love to get some horsey time in or children in school who are busier right now but will have more time to ride in the summer:) Open for beginners.
I am currently in the process of getting my Learn to Ride Certification to become a certified coach. I’ve been riding for 10 years, I have over 5 years of experience coaching with children as well as older people. It is such a big passion of mine, I really just love getting to share my love of horses with others, watch students grow and getting to bring such a fun experience with horses to my students.
Please note, I will be giving lessons with my personal pony, she is a large pony so I can’t have any children that are really little or anyone who is really really tall. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions I’m more than happy to answer!!

I got Dedee the beginning of the summer hoping she would eventually fit into my lesson program. This horse is just too fancy, talented and smart to be a school horse. She is currently in a weekly program however she would love her own person.
I was told she turned 4 in August, and her teeth confirm that. I measured her at 13.3h, however she is higher in the hind quarters so she should still grow a bit. Since owning her she has started into my training program. Dedee currently lunges; ground drives, is green but going very nicely walk trot and canter under saddle. She has done trotting poles, small cross rails and verticals. She has been out on some hacks and even rode in a schooling show on the property. She is in consistent work with children and small adults. Dedee is very levelheaded, not spooky, or hot. Recently we shipped her off property to school and she did really well.
Dedee absolutely loves attention. Great to be groomed, tacked etc. She is up to date with teeth, vaccines, feet etc. No vices, bottom of the pecking order. Located in Port Colborne Ontario

Inca is a very athletic, mature minded, strong-built Canadian horse. She was born July 23, 2021.
She is registered with the Canadian Horse Breeders Association, and is also microchipped, which can be located in her neck.
She is all black with a white under her forelock.
She has not been started under saddle, but has a lot of potential.
As true to the Canadian Breed, she is very smart, personable, strong, and stubborn. With some good guidance, education and a soft handed/ patient handler, she will become a beautiful horse.
I would say she is a quick learner. She accepts new activities going on around her with curiosity and intrigue. We have a lot of farm animals and landscaping going on, to which she loves to observe the chaos. She has been blanketed only on days where freeing rain was expecting. If it was her choice, she would prefer not to be blanketed at all. She will stand to be haltered, blanketed, and unblanketed. She is good with the farrier and vet. She can be stubborn about picking up her feet, but offers nothing dirty. She is barefoot, up to date on being dewormed, and vaccines are all current. She lives outside 24/7 with a run in shelter, amongst another horse and a miniature pony, with free choice hay and no grain.
I do not have time or the set up to train her, and she does need both. She is a beautiful horse, and has a bright mind ready to go in any direction.

Ce n’est pas une écurie de pension ni une école d’équitation.
Les enfants apprennent avant tout à comprendre les besoins des animaux de la ferme. Les chevaux font partie de cette expérience :
✨ brossage et manipulation sécuritaire
✨ apprendre leurs besoins, surtout lors des grandes chaleurs (hydratation, observation, bien-être)
✨ développer un lien de confiance avec eux
Les périodes à cheval se font au pas seulement, dans le pâturage/rond, environ 1 heure – 3 fois par semaine, dans un cadre calme et éducatif.

At Ferme Palissa, I offer an educational summer program focused on respect, kindness, and connection with animals.
This is NOT a boarding stable or a riding school.
Children learn how to care for farm animals and understand their needs. Horses are part of the experience:
✨ grooming and safe handling
✨ learning about their needs, especially during hot weather (hydration, observation, wellbeing)
✨ building trust and connection
Riding time is walk only, in the pasture/ring, about 1 hour – 3 times per week, in a calm educational setting.
My current herd:
• 2 horses aged 30
• 2 horses aged 27
• 1 horse aged 20
• 1 horse aged 12
I am open to welcoming 1 or 2 semi-retired or retired horses to gently grow my small herd. Even if I have space for more, I choose to keep a small herd to ensure individual care and wellbeing.

Percheron mare

Retired Amish horseTrained to drive and ride. She’s a perfect candidate for a wonderful husband horse, therapy ride, driving horse or just for recreation riding.
Easy keeper 24/7 outdoors. Healthy and happily settled into a slower paced life after a lifetime of hard farm work.
She is up to date with vaccines and farrier. She was stubborn to lift her hind legs for the farrier as many drafts can be when I first got her but now she’s very confident and responsive.
She stands in cross-ties and just stands patiently waiting for instructions.
Since I bought her I’ve done a lot of ground work and horsemanship. She’s smart and learns quickly, and we were able to bond easily. She learned to ride in an indoor arena as the months got colder. And participated in a riding clinic with a bunch of other horses and ponies and we even attempted a musical ride! Which turned out really funny and we had a blast.
I have a regular western saddle on her with a 44” girth, and 6” bit. I can add the head stall with bit and reins and the girth to the sale.
I decided to put her up for sale as I am a sporadic weekend rider and am quite a timid rider as well. I should be really looking at a part-board and she will make someone else very happy as she has a lot of good will and energy in her and it’s be a shame if she stands around most of the time without being ridden.
Message me for any further details. I have her PPE from when I bought her, and an older video (I have not been able to get up there to film a new one in the recent snow storms).

2012 Quarter Horse Gelding

Geo would do best with a confident intermediate rider or possibly a confident beginner with a trainer. He’s a little bit more go than whoa and will test his rider a bit.
Geo worked on a cattle ranch out west before we bought him. Since then he’s been started on the barrel pattern and has competed in a few club shows. He’s done some other western games too.
He’s also done:
-Extensive trails
-Overnight camping
-River and bridge crossings
-Pole work
-Extensive groundwork
-Liberty work
-Bareback riding
He’s a fancy mover and has beautiful collected and extended gates.
He’s great around kids, dogs, and other farm animals. Stands for farrier, great with the trailer and tolerates baths. He’s easy to catch from the field and does great with other horses.
Geo does best with consistent work as he likes a job to do. Without consistant work, his muscles get pretty tight and sore. Because of this he’s been getting massages every 4-6 weeks which helps.
Geo is up to date on everything and has no serious health issues. He does get sensitive to bug bites and swells a bit from them. I can send images upon request of this. We just put a full fly rug and mask on him during the summer and this prevents most issues.
I’m selling him because I’m looking for something very relaxed to do casual riding with. Geo is a very smart and talented horse with so much potential and I don’t want to see that go to waste.

Stallion for sale. "Leo" is a unregistered mini, about 33,34 inches tall. He is in his mid to late teens. He is healthy, very good natured with mares and the foals. He handles great, loves to be fussed over and groomed. Can be fussy about his feet but you just have to be firm and he behaves.
