Hello! I’m Andrew and I am currently accepting new students from total beginners to advanced musicians, to learn music through the harp! I also offer lessons for composition/songwriting, music theory, and improvisation.
How Lessons Work:
I offer:
weekly half-hour lessons
-or-
one-hour lessons on either a weekly or bi-weekly basis.I teach out of my home studio in Uptown Waterloo. Online lesson options are also available.
Lessons are booked one month at a time, for the same time each week. Lesson commitments are month-to-month. No contracts!
Some students prefer to bring their instrument to their lessons, but usually students will play on one of my harps.
No instrument required to get started! I have a limited number of loaner harps available for student use or purchase.
Teaching Philosophy:
I love teaching! I have been teaching the harp for ten years now, to students of all ages, experience levels, and interests. My teaching style takes a holistic approach with an emphasis on creative musicianship, and personal expression, while working towards student’s goals. Using a mixture of structured activities, free play, guided reflection, and technical exercises, my students learn not only to play the harp, but to understand music as a language and creative discipline. As a teacher I get that everyone’s journey will be unique, but I insist on always having fun along the way. Students learn how to play with their harp, whatever that means for them; be it classical repertoire, Celtic tunes, pop song arrangements, or something entirely their own.
Other things:
-I’m a Member of the Ontario Harp Society
-2SLGBTQ+ and Neurodivergent (ADHD, Autism, etc) friendly!
-I hold a Honours degree in music from Wilfrid Laurier University where the harp was my primary instrument, and I specialized in improvised music, composition, and electronic music.Send me an email for rates, if you have any questions, or to book a no obligation introductory lesson!
I have more information available on my website:

Now taking new students for piano and creative music lessons!
I love to help others explore the piano as an outlet for their expression and creativity. My students learn foundational techniques and musical building blocks that can be used for exploring any genre or style of music. I encourage my students to allow themselves to make mistakes and treat everything as a learning experience.
I also encourage students to bring to the lesson any musical material they desire to learn (songs, classical pieces, video game or movie soundtracks, jazz standards, etc.). Alternatively, for those who don't wish to learn to read standard notation, we can work on techniques for learning music by ear.
I believe that having a sense of play and enjoyment is most important for anyone’s musical journey. I offer lessons for all levels of piano, composition, improvisation, music theory, and any mixture of the above.
Send me an email to inquire about available times, book a free trial lesson, or ask me more about the lessons I offer:

Since graduating, he has performed solo and as a part of various duets – at cafes, restaurants, bars, churches, theatres, and art galleries. He has also attended and hosted sound meditation events, where the focus is on listening together and creating sounds spontaneously with instruments & our voices.

A little bit about me:
I grew up with music in a family of music and art lovers. Playing flutes for over 20 years, I obtained my Bachelor of Arts with a specialization in Music from Laurentian University in Sudbury in 2011, my Artist Diploma from Western University in 2016, and my Master of Music in Literature and Performance from Western University in 2018. I currently freelance in Southern Ontario and virtually internationally, and play in the London Community Orchestra. Previously I've performed with the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra. I also compose music for flute, often incorporating electronics, and visual art. I maintain an online flute studio, and have previously taught for New Horizon's Band at Western, given flute clinics for Northern Ontario Music Festival All Star Band at Laurentian, and present workshops on flutes, as well as improvisation and creativity. I have worked with learners from fresh beginners just starting out to advanced players in my online studio. I have seen learners who have never touched the instrument before grow to love making music on their instrument and flourish as skilled players playing their favourite music, as well as intermediate and advanced learners meet their goals and succeed in their craft.

TESTIMONIALS:
"Paul has been my guitar teacher for a couple of years now, he has taught me so much and the best part about it is that he makes it fun. Paul is an amazing guitar teacher, even though I’ve known him for a while now he never stops to amaze me with his musical knowledge and musical ear, I would play the song I want to learn on YouTube or Spotify and next thing you know he’s already playing the first chords without seeing any tabs or even knowing the song beforehand. I’ve had many guitar teachers in my life and trust me on this one, Paul is a gem. Definitely the best guitar teacher I’ve had in my life and I’m proud to be his student." (Anatole Bongheat)
Paul has been teaching my 6 year old son guitar since March 2023. He is highly qualified in his field and bilingual. He communicates clearly and effectively. Plus, the convenience of having the teacher come to our home was a real bonus. This eliminates the need to travel, ensuring a comfortable and familiar environment for my son to learn and practice. Paul is punctual and professional. He has a remarkable ability to captivate and engage young learners. He incorporates fun and interactive elements into the lessons, making the experience enjoyable and encouraging my son's enthusiasm for playing guitar. His patience and encouraging nature creates a positive learning environment, building my son's confidence as he progresses. Overall, I am extremely pleased with Paul's expertise, bilingualism and personalized approach. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dedicated and talented instructor.

Hello, my name is Chris and I am offering weekly piano lessons for $22.00/half hour lesson. To reiterate, the lessons will happen once a week for half an hour, and I will travel to your house to teach. Additionally, I am not a student at the University of Guelph but instead a resident of this amazing city, so you do not have to worry about me teaching you for a few years only to leave.
I have been teaching piano since 2012 and playing since 1995. I can teach beginner to RCM level 5, and from ages 5-68 years. I also believe that it is never too late to learn anything. I am also affiliated and the main Guelph teacher for both Feely Piano School and Kratovic School of Music.
The student must have a piano at their own residence for the lessons to occur. If interested, please respond to this ad, and we can set up a time and date for the first lesson.
*****PLEASE NOTE:*****
In-person lessons happen only in Guelph. If outside of Guelph, online lessons will be offered instead.Video links to previous students:

Guitar and/or Bass lessons in Guelph. I've been playing for about 20 years and would like to teach what I know to those who would like to learn to be a better musician!
I may seem like a scary metal head but I assure you I've been playing all kinds of music throughout my career. Metal just happens to be the music I enjoy playing live the most!
If you're just beginning and want to learn the basics. I can help you. If you're intermediate and want to take it to the next level. I can help you. If you just want to learn some different techniques and have a teacher who can show you different aspects of many different styles of music. I can help you.
Don't be shy! Send a message or text and I will reply as soon as I can! Cheers!
Online lessons available as well.

I offer lessons in violin, fiddle or music theory, online or in-person. Depending on location and scheduling, there may be home visit options. Please ask.
I teach all ages: young students, teens and adults, encouraging body awareness (not to develop injuries) and enjoyment in music. Tell me your motivation, and I will offer guidance in learning the instrument and setting & meeting your goals.
I draw on several resources and violin method books such as Royal Conservatory of Music, the Music by Black Composers series, the Fiddleworks series or folk music anthologies or online archives. We can explore improvising, film music, diverse world folk music, indie music, new music, ensemble music, using a looper & amp, etc.
I try to offer my students an opportunity to play in ensemble, either by pairing up students (duets / trios) or a larger ensemble group when time/space allow. Let me know if interested!
As a settler here on Turtle Island, I am grateful to work and play (often outdoors!) in the Guelph & Tri cities area, which is the traditional treaty territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and the ancestral lands of the Huron, Wendat and Chonnonton / (Attawandaron/ Neutral), Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabek peoples.
I whole-heartedly support and center the vitality and resurgence of their music and culture. I also encourage everyone, no matter their background, to explore or at least listen to the music of their heritage & cultures.

Hi everyone,
I'm a teacher and musician with over 28 years of activity. I got to play live with some celebrities around Italy and Europe as well as recording original music in the studio with some of the best rock and jazz artists around. With this announcement, I'm addressing those who want to seriously study the drums and go deep, avoiding the depersonalization of some standard services out there.During the lessons we will deal with the coordination of the limbs, snare drum technique, even and odd rhythms, rhythmic solfege and reading of the musical score. We will be using some of the most important books used in the best American schools and European conservatories, as well as a vast amount of exercises learned personally from some of the best drummers in the world.
I will walk you through the different musical styles, analyzing in depth the details and phrasing within the binary and ternary languages.
I will build a personalized path for your needs, bringing you visible results over time. The lessons will take place like real laboratories where we will be able to play the rhythms with musical tracks and a real keyboard or electronic piano accompaniment.
I mainly teach motivated and serious adults and teenagers, I prefer children over 10 if they are educated and disciplined.
I'll teach you in a small, well-equipped and clean home studio, away from other students' lessons and perhaps with a good Italian coffee! I prefer quality over quantity, few but seriously motivated students are right up my alley.
*** Convenient price for a first trial lesson including detailed consultancy.
Feel free to message me for any information. (text: 4372296083)

KINGSTON & AREA Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, young or old, there is something for everyone. Whether you like blues, rock, country, jazz, or classical, I offer structured, no-nonsense lessons that are fully customized to you.
My name is Ryan, and thanks for checking out my ad. I hear too many times from my students that the "last guy" didn't teach them anything. My students had no study notes, no books, no sheet music. So what did they do all week between lessons?
I don't just "show you how" to play a song, or only follow tab. You can follow tab on your own. I teach you how to do what I do, so your lessons don't drag on and you become independent. But real progress happens through practice during the week FOLLOWING my instruction, and shouldn't stay on hold until your next lesson because of having to wait till I "show you" the next part of our material.
I've been playing guitar (and many other instruments) for 25 years, teaching for over 15, and I play professionally all year round and have students in Kingston, Belleville, Napanee, and everywhere in between. I've trained people for entry into Humber, Royal Conservatory, and just for their casual enjoyment. I use real music to teach compositional ideas and arranging, and it's all geared to your own interest, which keep the lessons fun and interesting. Furthermore, I'm a high-honours graduate of world-renowned Harris Institute in Toronto with a background in sound engineering and recording. I can help you with your home studio and even show you how to do soldering and other types of repair work.
So if you're interested in finding quality lessons from a real teacher, and not just "that guy", give me a call or send me a message. Please also feel free to check out my website/Facebook for my testimonials, bio, and video samples.

Hello! I've been playing and teaching classical guitar in London for over 25 years and am currently accepting new students at my home studio in Masonville - all ages and levels welcome! Visit my web site (KevinLoveGuitar.com) or contact me to arrange a free visit to answer all your questions...I'm looking forward to helping you on your musical journey!
In case you're wondering, ‘classical’ guitar refers to an acoustic guitar with nylon strings that we play with our fingers; the music is oriented to ‘classical’ music – a wide variety in this genre – and the musical interface is through written music (as opposed to tab, charts, improv, etc.)…

Welcome to Songbird Studios! Owned & operated by Orlena Bray in the heart of London's Wortley Village.
My goal is to de-stigmatize the more traditional approach to lessons in order to create a safe space that allows for wellness to be part of the music learning.
Lessons revolve around the goals and interests of the student, using music based on their personal taste. It’s a very collaborative process.
As lessons progress, students learn self-assessment skills that help them participate in music with confidence because of their musical knowledge and artistic autonomy. To get the full scoop about the studio and Orlena's many qualifications, check out https://www.songbirdstudioslondon.com/
