Kawartha Youth Orchestra is a community music and orchestra-training organization serving elementary through post-secondary-aged youth. Our students come from numerous communities in the Kawartha Region of Central Ontario. Each year we enroll students who want to be challenged beyond their school music experience. Our conductors and faculty are accomplished musicians with extensive backgrounds in performance and music education. As a registered non-profit, charitable organization, KYO values its partnership with local school music programs, private teachers, and other community performance organizations, who share in the development of our student musicians.
The KYO runs three tiers of orchestras: Senior, Intermediate, and Junior, as well as provides subsidized instrumental music lessons, and lessons on theory, orchestration, composition, and digital music production. These programs are designed to help teach young musicians the skills they will need to transition their enthusiasm for music into a life-long passion. Young musicians will learn musical, social, and interpersonal skills in a safe, welcome program, guided by professional musicians and music educators.
To register for the KYO, please submit this form or contact us for more information!
https://forms.gle/YNdeAFHfAnbV4hf98The KYO is proud to be able to offer such high-quality music programming, and to be able to make such programming accessible to young musicians regardless of their financial situation. In addition to all musicians receiving more than 50% subsidy, the KYO is able to provide additional subsidies to those in need. If you have interest in playing in an ensemble or learning to play or grow on your instrument, we welcome you!
KYO programming ranges in fees from $200 to $425 per semester depending on the program registered for.For more information on the KYO and our programming, please check our website at www.kawarthayouthorchestra.org, visit us on instagram (@thekawarthayouthorchestra), or send us a message by email (contactus@kawarthayouthorchestra.org).

Covid is over and "Let Me Write It" is back writing mini bios for senior men and women or couples.
It will entail 5-7 interviews, proof reading and old photos. - The bio will include approximately 15 pages of your life or more if a couple and I will reproduce your photos integrated into the profile and on completion presented in a looseleaf book form. This is time consuming and may take up to 4 -6 weeks to complete. The most common comment from sons, daughters, grandchildren and friends after reading bio is " I didn't know that." Be remembered with a mini biography. --- Excellent family or friend gift - Don't let this opportunity go by, think of those who are gone you wished you knew more about but no one to ask.
Very reasonable -
Please call 705-292-7454 for more information or to book a mini bio appointment - thank you

I can expect a miraculous change in my life by working the program of Co-Dependents Anonymous.
As I make an honest effort to work the Twelve Steps and follow the Twelve Traditions.I will know a new sense of belonging. The feeling of emptiness and loneliness will disappear.
I am no longer controlled by my fears. I overcome my fears and act with courage, integrity and dignity.
I know a new freedom.
I release myself from worry, guilt, and regret about my past and present. I am aware enough not to repeat it.
I know a new love and acceptance of myself and others. I feel genuinely lovable, loving and loved.
I learn to see myself as equal to others. My new and renewed relationships are all with equal partners.
I am capable of developing and maintaining healthy and loving relationships. The need to control and manipulate others will disappear as I learn to trust those who are trustworthy.
I learn that it is possible to mend - to become more loving, intimate and supportive. I have the choice of communicating with my family in a way which is safe for me and respectful of them.
I acknowledge that I am a unique and precious creation.
I no longer need to rely solely on others to provide my sense of worth.
I trust a guidance I receive from my higher power and come to believe in my own capabilities.
I gradually experience serenity, strength, and spiritual growth in my daily life.

In addition social gatherings for camaraderie will be side benefits. For information please reply to this ad or text me at 705-957-2420. Cheers! Bill
Pigeon racing is a hobby that the whole family can enjoy. It encourages and enhances responsibility, builds skills in nutrition, strategic thinking, carpentry, animal care, relationship building, team work and so many other values that video games don't offer. It also provides the opportunity to watch beautiful birds go about their interesting family lives.

I am looking for 1 or 2 individuals to help me on my farm.
I am looking for someone to help me grow various types of fruit or vegetables on my farm starting in spring 2023. I can dedicate up to 5 acres of my farm if needed.Anything grown will be shared 50/50. with my 50% to be donated to people in need and rescue animals.
I don't have experience in farming and I cant dedicate the time.
I have most of the equipment needed located on the farm. I am open to grow anything. I would like a variety of items grown on the farm. I already have 50+ apple trees and berry trees located all over the farm and would need help collecting the apples so we can donate them to charities.
Please message me if you are interested.
I am also willing to create an indoor structure to grow.
