FLATO ACADEMY THEATRE TO WELCOME “OH WHAT A NIGHT!” SHOW TO LINDSAY
A Musical Tribute To Frankie Valli & The Four SeasonsFeaturing all the big hits of those boys from Jersey!
“You almost don’t believe the four performers are singing live until their remarkable a cappella rendition of Silence Is Golden proves that to be true. Noteworthy in its tight harmonies and clarity, the voices are left to stand on their own and were up to the challenge.”
Las Vegas Review JournalRocklands Entertainment in collaboration with Las Vegas based Chapquist Entertainment is excited to announce a Fall 2023 tour of the hit show OH WHAT A NIGHT! A Musical Tribute to Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons.
OH WHAT A NIGHT! is a blockbuster musical review conceived and directed by award-winning Broadway producer-director Michael Chapman; written by Motown producer George Solomon; and choreographed by critically acclaimed choreographer Paul Holmquist.
“The thing that distinguishes OH WHAT A NIGHT! from other tribute shows is that the audience feels like they get a chance to know our performers intimately as we’re not doing an impersonation of FRANKIE VALLI & THE FOUR SEASONS”, shares producer/director Michael Chapman.
In addition to having appeared to sold-out audiences at prestigious theatres, arenas and showrooms throughout the United States, and to having been featured for over ten years on Norwegian Cruise Line the show also performed every week for over seven consecutive years on NCL’s Pride of America sailing the Hawaiian Islands. The show’s International appearances have included previous tours in Canada, as well as Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Guam and Malaysia… with more to come.
If you love the music of FRANKIE VALLI & THE FOUR SEASONS and JERSEY BOYS, you won’t want to miss OH WHAT A NIGHT! It’s more than just a tribute. It’s more than just a concert. It’s a flashy all-around feel-good experience that leaves audiences on their feet Beggin’ for more.”
Celebrating the hits of FRANKIE VALLI & THE FOUR SEASONS, who were inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1990, OH WHAT A NIGHT! offers a roller coaster ride of emotions featuring extraordinarily talented singer/dancers, comedy, and informative stories like no other. It features all of the original hits as well as many not included in Broadway’s Tony award-winning musical JERSEY BOYS as well as Valli’s biggest solo hit from the movie GREASE. While taking fans on a musical journey down memory lane, each performer brings to life a high-energy theatrical event that remains authentic throughout the show.
OH WHAT A NIGHT! is an intimate, family-friendly concert and celebration of one of the most enduring pop musical icons of our time, FRANKIE VALLI & THE FOUR SEASONS. Delighting audiences of all ages since it originally premiered in Las Vegas, the show always leaves the audience exclaiming OH WHAT A NIGHT!

Hello! I work from home but feeling isolated and want to find a coworking space out of home for a change so I can be around more people. Just need a desk, a chair, a power outlet, and some cool people to be around lol. Please let me know. Thanks !

Do you have too many pedals for your own good? Does your guitar or keyboard sound more like a spaceship piloted by aliens on drugs than a guitar or keyboard? Then I want to jam with you. I play a bunch of different instruments and I'm willing to play whatever the music calls for. Reach out!

I am a mature drummer looking to join a band. Preference in music is a lot of variations of rock and country, 90's to current, just looking to play and having fun, live once in a while maybe once a month or so. I don't have the availability to play a gig every week. As you can see I have all pro gear, several drum kits, monster kits to scaled back 4 piece and a full scale pa to play anywhere. I don't have a rehearsal spot, sorry. I am also open to starting something from scratch. Feel free to drop me a message if you you what to chat about it, Cheers.

I am not very good at playing electric guitar but love to hear people just shred it. I am looking for someone who plays and might have the time once and a while to show me a few things. If this interests you please send me a message

Looking for a lead guitar player for a new cover band. Daughtry, 3 Doors Down, Counting Crows vibe. looking to play live maybe once a month not every weekend. Drop me a message if you are interested.

I’m a drummer looking for other musicians to jam and make music with. My style is chill, low-tempo music, like ambient, dreampop, and lofi beats type of stuff. I’m not a pro. I also have a foundational grasp on music theory, and I can play a few different instruments.
As long as you can jam on a few chords, we can have fun and make music together.
-

Subdued trippy minor key layered sonic explorations. I play guitar with lots of pedals. Maybe we can make something new. Other instruments also very welcome - please get in touch. Open mind a must.

In need of a bassist to learn a set in time for a paid gig, September 28th. Let me know if you'd be interested!
The band is Titan Arum, melodic death metal.
If need be, you are welcome to alter or simplify the bass-lines in whatever way you wish -- top priority is having the set down in time for the show
No homophobes or transphobes allowed. Our set at the Gordon Best will be followed by a drag performance with some good friends of mine \m/ Gonna be a unique show!

The Bowie Lives is excited to be returning
to Peterborough once again! So what is “The Bowie Lives?”
Perhaps this email from an audience member best sums it up… “Saw the show last night in Midland and was blown away. Was a little apprehensive at first as I have been a Bowie fan since I was a teen and I was concerned the band may not do the songs justice. I was overwhelmingly thrilled at what I heard and saw, from the first note I was hooked. The biggest takeaway is you can tell the lead singer is truly a devoted fan himself. Loved the way you honored David Bowie. Hope to see you in Collingwood!”The industry thinks so too…
“5 Stars! Unbelievable! I could have watched them for two more hours!” says Richard Crouse, Host of CTV PopLife.“By far, the best & coolest Bowie Tribute I’ve seen!” says Sam Grosso, Cadillac Productions.
“As close as it gets!” says MusikMirage.com
They’re all talking about the “The Bowie Lives” Canada’s most Spectacular Tribute to David Bowie! Michael Bell is an award-winning vocalist who channels the sound and styles of David Bowie, and with the help of an all-star band, multi-media, theatre, and costumes, he has captured the imagination of fans young and old.
Michael discovered Bowie as a teen and performed songs with a number of his early bands. By the 80’s his first theatrical production “ChangesAllBowie” toured the “A circuit” before hanging up his “Ziggy” in the early ’90s. Decades passed. After David’s untimely death on January 10, 2016, Michael’s calling returned; his calling to honor the man who helped shape his life. Together with musical director Michael Beauclerc, they began auditioning players to fill out a band capable of performing some of Rock’s most challenging material. The Bowie Lives bring all the hits to the stage, from Space Oddity to Lazarus, and everything in between.
The Bowie Lives PRE-SHOW includes the Bowie Bazaar; T-shirts, collectibles, LP’s and DVDs, and more.
Come dressed as your favorite David Bowie persona, or wear your favorite swag and be rewarded! Don’t forget to grab a button!
Michael is also the subject of an upcoming documentary film “Being David Bowie” and an upcoming web series “The Bowie Lives.”

Good evening, Despite in-person lessons are much better, I'm offering online sessions as well. Look forward to talking with you!
My name is Dearian Seepersad, I'm a Music Teacher, Performer, and Composer. For the last 5 years I've been performing all over the GTA, including: festivals; pride, multi-cultural, afro-fest, private functions, restaurants, bars, and producing my local show while producing tracks for local Toronto artists. This year, I'm building my independent music school from my home studio. (Big Project!) Too often, I hear about beginner students horror stories about learning in the classical vein or the lack of purpose in general lesson plans. My focus is to create a unique lesson plan for each student to maximize efficiency while incorporating my teaching style into the plan. I incorporate musical expression, technique, and theory into each lesson while taking we've learnt and reworking it into something original. Composition being the ultimate goal; as we learn a lot quicker thinking for ourselves. There are no limitations, I've taught and performed in many genres: Classical, Jazz, Rock,Pop,Reggae, Blues, Hip-hop, Gospel, Fusion, the list goes on... So who am I? I'm a 24 year old musician who's extremely passionate about ALL music. - Completed 3 years Mohawk College Applied Music program. - 5 years teaching experience. (Includes leading band rehearsal and performances) - Developed and promoted shows - Constantly studying the scripts of the great classical composers. - Most important: Patient and Understanding. The lessons I'm offering are: Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Recording, and Drums. (Drums taught by another teacher) We will discuss: Structure (Form), Harmony, Melody, Counterpoint, Sightreading and Improvisation while meeting the technical demands of instrument.
Each lesson will be 30 - 45 minutes with the option to have the lesson at your location/home. My rates are fair and negotiable. We all have our lives and circumstances going on; it's okay. Feel free to respond to this ad, call or text: 647-294-0493. (I'm quite busy, if you text the instrument you wish to learn, I'll call as soon as I'm available)
Thanks for reading, I hope we chat soon! "Music is the mediator between the spiritual and sensual life" - Ludwig Van Beethoven.
