They were trained to follow orders, but also sworn to defend the Constitution.
During COVID-19, U.S. service members were given orders that many believed were unlawful, and told their careers depended on compliance.
Some obeyed. Others refused. Nearly all paid a price.
‘DUTY TO DISOBEY’ reveals what happened to those who refused, and why their story matters to every American and beyond.
This is a film about courage under pressure, institutional failure, and the quiet line where lawful authority ends. It wasn't just in one place where that happened. It was everywhere and it affected all of us. This story is our story.
THEATRICAL PREMIERE | June 30, 2026.
In Canada as of the date of this ad being put up, ROCKY CINEMAS IN ROCKY MOUNTAIN HOUSE, AB is the ONLY Canadian host where you will be able to see this movie premiere in a cinema.
How the film was meant to be experienced—together. Thousands will gather in theaters across the world for one night only.
Support the Film. Defend the Truth.
DUTY TO DISOBEY is an independent film, made possible by people who believe constitutional duty doesn’t end when orders become unlawful.
