- Identify and troubleshoot any issues related to wire pulling

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician certified
- Own everyday trade tools
- Must have prior experience with terminations and both reading and interpreting control drawings
- First Aid certificate considered an asset
- Willingness to complete WPP training if not completed previously

Atlas-Apex Roofing Vancouver Inc. is a leading commercial/industrial roofing contractor with operations throughout Canada and the USA.
We are looking for Roofing Installer and Roofing Labourer positions for full time employment.
Wage range from $27-$50/hr. (Salary scale commensurate with qualifications and experience)
Responsibilities:
Site mobilization;
Stripping and disposing of old roof,
Loading and unloading material;
Job site clean-up.
Installing, repairing or replacing a variety of roofing systems
Skills/Qualifications:
Must be a team player who is dependable and reliable
Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced, high energy environment on the roof
Weight handling can be over 50lbs
On site work environment is outdoors and subjected to all weather conditions.
Work environment is on the roof and/or on the grounds that are dusty and noisy
Worker must wear necessary Protective Equipment including but not limited to Safety Boots
Own transportation is an asset
Ability to learn and follow our extensive safety policy
Intermediate English skills

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and perform regular maintenance of all equipment and machines
- Execute planned and ad hoc maintenance
- Commission new equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance for all equipment
- Operate within a multi-skilled environment to maintain the plant’s machinery and equipment
- Reactive and Predictive work on electrical manufacturing equipment (including troubleshooting and root cause analysis). PLCs (Allen Bradley) VFDs, automation equipment, compressors, boilers, and more.
- Operate mobile equipment used in the repair, installation or fabrication of equipment including but not limited to lathes, welders, milling machines, drills, grinders, hammers, wrenches, blow torches and other varieties of power tools.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician or Millwright (or Red Seal)
- Strong mechanical knowledge and electrical knowledge an asset
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Experience working in the food or high-speed packaging industry
- Some PLC knowledge is required
