g. Calculate shipping weight to meet the carrier requirement
6. Complete daily management facility and staffing reports
7. Advertise, interview, hire, and dismiss staff as appropriate.
8. Establish and monitor compliance with warehouse budget, reporting on budget compliance to superior, Mei Zhang.
9. Able to lift up to 50 lbs.Qualifications:
a. Post-secondary diploma (in a discipline related to business administration or operations management) or
b. Training, knowledge, and experience in warehouse operations/maintenance suitable to and sufficient for this position.
c. Ability to perform duties.
d. Class 5 driver’s license
e. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) BC Certificate
f. First aid certificate
g. Certificate in handling dangerous goods
h. Safety Management Systems (SMS) training not required but would be asset. If the successful candidate does not have this, then employer will provide it.
