This cottage is located at the family-oriented LaCasa Resort. It is a few minutes walk from the beach with unobstructed views of the lake. Lake Okanagan is beautiful and you should be by the lake with a full view of it. It will be hard find a better location and view. Enjoy your morning coffee, happy hour, dinner, or just take a nap on the deck and look at the lake. Whatever you like you'll enjoy it from this modern air-conditioned cottage.
Its a crazy world right now and staying local in Canada provides a piece of mind that international travel can not currently provide as its too unstable. Buy Canadian and feel good about it.

Our Okanagan Cottage has 3 large bedrooms featuring queen size beds, a pull out sofa sleeper by the fireplace, 2 full baths, and a large front deck with an incredible lake view. The GOURMET kitchen includes granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and is fully stocked for all your cooking needs. The cottage is complete with washer/dryer and BBQ. Enjoy your coffee as you watch the sunrise on your large deck, and later the same day enjoy dinner and an evenings' glass of wine on the deck as day turns to night and you relax while gazing at the stars sparkling over the moonlit lake.
The kids will enjoy the 600 Mbps Internet speed, its the fastest you can get. Bring your streaming TV device, game console, and connect to the 50 inch 4k TV and watch Netflix, or your other favorite channel, on your own account. You can use our Wifi as we will provide you access to it so you can connect your phones and tablets and save your own data.
The ATV trails up the mountain are breath taking! Ride your ATV on the numerous maintained trails or find your own path in the back country.
We have boat moorage available!!!
During the summer LaCasa provides guests with numerous amenities including 2 pools, 3 hot tubs, tennis courts, a volleyball court, mini golf, a restaurant (during seasonal operation), kids play area, and a general store. Our beachfront has several tanning decks with loungers and three large aqua-parks (trampoline and slides). Make use of the kayaks and paddle boards available at the beach as well. The amenities are open from May Long Weekend till September Long weekend.
Playing in the Okanagan allows you access to fourteen wineries all within a 1 hour drive of LaCasa including Summerhill Pyramid, Grey Monk, Mission Hill, Cedar Creek, and Quail's Gate. It also has world renowned Golf Courses nearby. Kelowna is well known for its many locally owned restaurants with an assortment of menus and night life that features a Casino, theater, or family oriented activities.
Rather then drive to town to get groceries use the Save On Foods delivery service, order from the West Kelowna store and have it delivered the next day.
Personally, we go to the cottage to enjoy the Okanagan and its range of outdoor activities. There are a lot of activities at the resort but we like to use it as our base camp for all that the Okanagan has to offer. Silver Star Mountain is 60 minutes away and is a year round playground featuring Skiing, Snowboarding, and Snow-shoeing in the winter and a Mountain bike park with hiking in the summer. Activities in the area range from zip lining, paintball, biking (family oriented, road biking, and mountain biking), hiking, and bungee jumping. Oh yea, there is also Lake Okanagan which is incredible to Paddleboard, kayak, swim, and boat in and there is a special dog beach because your pet can stay and they love the water as well. Do yourself a favour, come enjoy the great Okanagan, right on the lakefront. You will not regret it!

This four seasons cottage is our special place where our family continues to build memories year-round, but when we’re not there we are happy to share it with others who would like to experience the beauty of Mazinaw Lake.
There are 3 bedrooms: two with queen beds, and one with a single-over-queen bunk. We also have a spare single mattress and a spare crib mattress that can be put on the floor (we find those useful for kids who want to sleep in parents’ rooms).
There is one bathroom with an accessible shower, and the kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. There is a washer & dryer behind the living area; please note that the washing machine cannot be used in the winter, neither can the bathroom sink (until we find a way to insulate those pipes). There are a few baseboard heaters that keep the place from freezing, but the main source of heat when visiting in cold weather is the wood stove (wood provided). It makes the cottage toasty-warm and provides beautiful ambiance, but please be mindful of fire safety and proper operation when using it! Ask if unsure :)
The space is lovely, open & bright with vaulted ceilings and huge windows. Being South-facing, it is flooded in lovey sunlight all day. The lake is visible from most rooms, with trees creating a bit of privacy from any passing boats.
We have a shelf full of toys for younger children, and a cupboard with board games. While the cottage is child-friendly it is not child-proofed, so remember to keep an eye on your little ones! There is a wall-mounted smart TV and Starlink internet keeps the cottage connected for streaming movies on rainy days or working remotely.
Outside the yard is large and has a feeling of privacy, which is helped by being the last cottage on the road. We do have neighbours nearby, though, so we ask that you are respectful of their privacy and keep the noise down especially in the evenings/night time. This is a small, quiet, family-friendly bay and not an appropriate place for parties.
Now to the best part… the lake! There is one flight of steps to get to the water, and we have a large dock for you to spend your day lying in the sun. We regularly have wildlife visiting us by the waterfront - if you’re lucky, you might spot a heron or the bay’s resident loon. We have two kayaks, a canoe, and a rowboat for your use (life jackets mandatory). You can paddle around the bay or out into the lake and down through The Narrows to see the awe-inspiring Mazinaw Rock. There is a water-access trail (from a dock on the East side of the Narrows) that you can hike up to a lookout on top of the cliffs for breathtaking views. You can pull ashore at Bon Echo provincial park where there are multiple beaches and miles of hiking trails, or use our park pass to drive over. There are also canoe portage routes around the lake that connect to other nearby lakes providing outdoor enthusiasts with unlimited opportunities to explore. Back at the cottage our waterfront is a mix of sand & rocks, and about knee-deep at the shore. The water is crystal clear and quickly gets deep enough for swimming.
To note: when paddling around the lake please avoid weed patches as there is an invasive species (Eurasian Milfoil) in some areas that we don’t want to spread anywhere else! If you bring your own kayak/canoe, you must make sure it is washed off before putting it in the lake to avoid the possible introduction of any other invasive species. This is proper etiquette at any lake :)

Whether you chose to go paddling around the lake, swimming off the dock, walking along the lane, hiking in the park, or just curling up by the fire with a good book, we are sure you will feel the magic of this space and make memories to last a lifetime.
