Calling all parents of children aged 5-12 years! Western University Researchers are conducting a study exploring the relationship between positive parenting and psychosocial health outcomes (i.e., subjective health and wellbeing, kindness, mental health, resilience, belonging, and empathetic prosocial behaviours) among children aged 5-12 years.
If you are a parent to at least one child aged 5-12 years who lives in Canada, you may be eligible to participate!
Participation in this study is voluntary and anonymous. If you are interested and agree to participate, you would be asked to complete a 20–30-minute online survey.

My spouse and I have 3 beautiful daughters and they are 5 years old, 1 year old and a 4 month old.
My partner was previously a transport truck driver, up until November of 2023 when I received the phone call that he was in a bad accident while he was working and the truck rolled over on its side and flung him so hard that he broke his arm and collarbone, and damaged his back. Since the accident, he hasn’t regained his full strength and mobility to go back to his job which left us struggling now to keep food on the table for our kids.
I have never reached out for this kind of help in my life and I wouldn’t have if we didn’t have kids to feed and worry about but we have no other option but to reach out and hopefully this ad will help us.

Hi, I’m Deanna And I love senior citizens and inspiring conversations and wise interactions with them. I am very aware that loneliness is a killer in my compassionate training. I teach people 22 ways to be happy for no reason. A big role for fulfilling happiness for me is helping others.
I’m a coach, Author and teacher. My mom has Alzheimer’s and I miss the conversations I had with her dearly right now because she do not know who I am. I miss her wisdom that she shared with me open heartedly. I do realize loneliness is a killer and there’s a lot of people out there that are suffering from loneliness, so now I’ve expanded my business to just meeting elders who would just like someone to talk to have a cuppa tea with or even play a game of cards if they have that mental capacity. Not only that, I have my own car I can take them for a drive or go shopping if they are physically capable. I will do things that your family always want to do but do not have have time to do because they have work or other obligations, like childcare or travel schedules.
As of now I am doing this as a volunteer, or even for a small donation would be appreciated, but not necessary. I just want to connect with the wise, beautiful, senior citizens that are out there that are experiencing loneliness. Maybe we can build something special together and I can expand my business this way but for now I would just like to reach them and see how this goes. This is just something that’s in my heart and soul as I’ve dedicated my life to helping people build relationships, find happiness, and heal from past wounds for I’ve been there. My purpose in life after taking a early retirement was to help others and my mission is to spread more light and love in this world for the world needs more.
