Hey folks .. Raunchy rock guitarist singer/songwriter here looking to get a 2-piece act going with a creative and dynamic drummer, kinda like Meg White from the early White Stripes sound. Main goal is to gig around town as much as possible and have a great time at it! I love roots-heavy rock from the Small Faces, Jimi Hendrix, the Yardbirds, Lou Reed, T-Rex, Johnny Thunders, and even heavier bluesy metal like Sabbath and Zeppelin, plus some originals thrown in. Got a spot to jam near the Village Mall, just bring a snare and your imagination!

I’m a 31 year old guitarist and I’ve been wanting to get back into playing music regularly now that I’ve moved back to St. John’s. I love playing straight jazz standards, but I’m happy playing any sort of improvised music, from blues to bluegrass to free playing.
I have a decent amount of experience gigging and recording, as well as an understanding of theory. Of course, I’m open to play with any instrument. I especially love playing in duos.
At the very least it would be nice to just get together once a week or so and jam, but if things click it would great to try some gigging.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Mad in Canada has created a short survey aimed at shedding light on the informed consent process experienced by adults who are living in Canada, and who have been prescribed antidepressants at some point in their life. Our survey is not about whether people should or should not take antidepressants. It’s about what people are being told about the potential effects of antidepressants, when they are prescribed. My spouse and I have 3 beautiful daughters and they are 5 years old, 1 year old and a 4 month old.
My partner was previously a transport truck driver, up until November of 2023 when I received the phone call that he was in a bad accident while he was working and the truck rolled over on its side and flung him so hard that he broke his arm and collarbone, and damaged his back. Since the accident, he hasn’t regained his full strength and mobility to go back to his job which left us struggling now to keep food on the table for our kids.
I have never reached out for this kind of help in my life and I wouldn’t have if we didn’t have kids to feed and worry about but we have no other option but to reach out and hopefully this ad will help us.
we will be forever grateful for any support we receive and thank you for your time

Hi, I’m Deanna And I love senior citizens and inspiring conversations and wise interactions with them. I am very aware that loneliness is a killer in my compassionate training. I teach people 22 ways to be happy for no reason. A big role for fulfilling happiness for me is helping others.
I’m a coach, Author and teacher. My mom has Alzheimer’s and I miss the conversations I had with her dearly right now because she do not know who I am. I miss her wisdom that she shared with me open heartedly. I do realize loneliness is a killer and there’s a lot of people out there that are suffering from loneliness, so now I’ve expanded my business to just meeting elders who would just like someone to talk to have a cuppa tea with or even play a game of cards if they have that mental capacity. Not only that, I have my own car I can take them for a drive or go shopping if they are physically capable. I will do things that your family always want to do but do not have have time to do because they have work or other obligations, like childcare or travel schedules.
As of now I am doing this as a volunteer, or even for a small donation would be appreciated, but not necessary. I just want to connect with the wise, beautiful, senior citizens that are out there that are experiencing loneliness. Maybe we can build something special together and I can expand my business this way but for now I would just like to reach them and see how this goes. This is just something that’s in my heart and soul as I’ve dedicated my life to helping people build relationships, find happiness, and heal from past wounds for I’ve been there. For more information you can Google me I’ve been on international podcast and I do have a website called goddesscompass.com. My purpose in life after taking a early retirement was to help others and my mission is to spread more light and love in this world for the world needs more. I have an interesting life that I’m so grateful for. I have travelled lots including to spending time in the Amazon jungle to heal also. I have an array of knowledge about healthy living, lifestyle and remedies. Reference are available for anyone who is looking for companion compassionate care for their elderly love ones. I am also the president of Positive Thinkers in St. John’s NL. If you are looking for someone to fulfill this role for your love ones please reach out here. Deanna J Hann. I look forward to hearing from you and see how I can help.
Sincerely a dedicated Newfoundlander to this mission, Deanna Hann,
