We are looking for an ABA home therapist for our 7 year old son with Autism to provide hands on skill development and behavioural intervention. Paid training will be provided.
The home therapist will work in the home as part of a therapy team under the direction of a Child Management Specialist.
Applicants should have an interest in working with children and at least two years of post secondary education. Experience working with children with Austim is an asset.
This position is for 10 hours a week working Monday-Friday, 3:00-5:00 pm. Rate of pay is 17.05-18.63 per hour plus 4% vacation pay. Located in Mount Pearl near Avalon Ford.

Looking for a part-time support worker for our son in St.John's East.
Hours per week are anywhere between 4 and 16 hours. This could be now or starting in August, or starting anywhere inbetween.
He is 26 years old, non-verbal with intellectual disabilities. He has a pleasant character with lots of smiles, especially if those around him engage with him. He needs support with daily life skills, as much as a compagnion.
Preferred is a person who has expience with being and/ or working with persons with intellectual disabilities., who is positive, engaging, energetic and equipped with patience.
The worker would take our son out into the community for activities and socializing, like the G. Rubia Center. At times this requires taking and lifting a foldalbe adult stroller onto the Gobus or in the car - the stroller is not a light-weight object.

Hi there :) I am a very caring and kind middle aged lady that has worked in the healthcare sector for many year so there isn’t much I haven’t seen or been around. I would like to be able to help some seniors with some home management ( such has cooking and cleaning, laundry and meal prep) and also to help with personal care has bathing, shaving, mouth care. Or I can just provide some companion care with chatting or going outside on nice weather days. -Duties include all personal care. -Meal preparation. - Administer medication. - Support with walking mobility and physical activity, safety and comfort. -Light housekeeping & Laundry. -Must possses a good knowledge and understanding of Autism. CPI and Behavioural training an asset.
The successful applicant must possess: -First Aid. -CPR. -TB check (within the previous 6 monoths) -Current letter of conduct. -Current letter of Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC).
- Must have experience and/or college training. -Ability to care for clients and their property with dignity and respect. - Must be responsible, mature, and trustworthy.
Three (3) written references are required before starting work.
