My name is Max Salman, I am First Officer at Bearskin Airlines and I am also an Industry Canada (ISED) Radio Examiner. Prior to my aviation career, I was a remote sensing airborne geophysicist and climate scientist. I also have a very extensive and diverse background in university-level teaching, workshop facilitation, and one-on-one mentorship.I got my Honours Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Waterloo in Earth Science, Geology Specialization, and concurrently got my Commercial Pilot License. I worked internationally as an airborne geophysicist, managed high profile exploration and environmental projects, working with overseas governments, large mining companies, and federal authorities. I returned to school in 2016 after 5 years of industry work and travel, and have completed two Master’s Degrees.
