Supply Chain Project Manager - DC Infrastructure
Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for a long term contract opportunity with a well established apparel manufacturing client of ours in the Vancouver area. The Senior PM will plan and manage projects within the North American Distribution center infrastructure portfolio for the Vancouver DC Operation.

Responsibilities
-Build and manage project work plans and timelines
-Partner with internal stakeholders to create project charters (scope, objectives, cost, benefits, resourcing, risks) and supporting workplans
-Lead, coordinate and communicate with the stakeholders for each project workstream including: Engineering, DC Operations, Technology, material handling vendor(s), and other third parties as required
-Monitor project status, performance against plan as measured by tasks, milestones, KPIs, and supporting metrics
-Document and assess project risk factors, providing line-of-sight to PMO and functional leadership to issues, risks, and required decisions
-Maintain consolidated resource and timeline views across the project scope
-Provide project status updates according to desired timeline (e.g. weekly, biweekly, monthly) and to desired audience
-Conduct weekly project status reviews, meetings, and leadership updates when required
-Provide roll-up reporting to Global Fulfillment Program Leadership
-Adhere to our clients PMO processes and documentation
-Align documents to SOX compliance standards
Qualifications
- Strong project management ability, PMP preferred.
- Prior experience managing complex supply chain projects
- Experience managing projects within DC operations.
- Strong leadership ability
