Beautifully crafted roadster based on a 1923 Peerless, (chassis/frame number 8519), the car is correctly registered as a 1923 Peerless with the 4 digit VIN number. This was a frame off restoration / build with period correct handmade steel bodywork. As with most American cars of the period it is quite large, almost 16 feet long, 6 feet 3 inches wide, and weighs about 3000 lbs.
The cost of restoration was approx $70000 plus hours of time, today the cost would probably exceed $100000. Since the restoration the Peerless has been stored in a heated garage, and never seen rain.
This is Not a kit car or a recreation on a modern chassis, please remember the frame is the 1923 Peerless.
This is as close as you will get to driving a 1920's racing car on the road.
The Peerless is fitted with a 292 cubic inch (4.8 liter) straight six GM engine and turbo 350 transmission, Impala posi 336 rear end, custom intake and exhaust manifolds, Edelbrock performer 4 barrel carb, custom exhaust. The build allows the car to be used on a regular basis in modern traffic conditions, with spare parts readily available.
To answer some of the questions;
- The car is registered to myself in BC as a 1923 Peerless, and is on Collector Plates.
- Car is located just outside of Vancouver, will be happy to show the car to any prospective buyer.
- Photos are of the actual car, most recent photos show BC collector plates.
- The Peerless is a pure roadster, with no weather protection.
- For safety reasons full harnesses were fitted to the car and a roll bar.
- Unusual to say, but the photos do not do the car justice. It is far more imposing and impressive in real life.
- I will be happy to assist any buyer in shipping the car to where ever they want in the world at their expense.
- Peerless was a US car manufacturer in Cleveland, Ohio, from 1900 to 1930, so this is a US built car.
Genuine reason for sale, downsizing for retirement. The Price is a fraction of the restoration cost.
Car has to go, come and have a look and make an offer.
Should you have ANY questions about the car, price, shipping, documentation please contact me;

Looking for a good home for my classic 1964 1/2 cherry red Ford Mustang, with only 106,000 original miles. The car is all original, other than newer paint and a rebuilt transmission in 2017. The car has always been parked in a garage and tarped when not used, and it has never been winter driven but is started monthly to keep the engine oiled. During the summer it is only driven on sunny days, totaling to only a few hundred kilometers every summer. The interior has original red leather bucket seats, with an adjustable drivers seat and a bench in the back. Smooth drive with an automatic stick shift.
All bills and service records are available.
The car looks amazing and is a blast to drive. I hate to sell it, but am looking for a change. Would consider trading for a good truck camper.
