The Role:
We are seeking a Fully Licensed Veterinarian in British Columbia to join our team on a part-time. This role is designed for a clinician who excels in the exam room, focusing on high-level medical diagnostics and triage. The focus is on medical consultations, diagnostics, triage, and case management.
While the position begins as shift-based coverage, it has strong potential to evolve into a consistent, routine part-time schedule for the right candidate.
What You’ll Do:
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and medical consultations
Develop diagnostic plans and interpret laboratory findings
Interpret radiographs and other imaging
Create and manage evidence-based treatment plans
Provide preventative care and client education
Maintain clear, accurate, and detailed medical records
Collaborate closely with our technicians and support team
Schedule & Practice Environment:
Flexible, shift-based structure – we are seeking a reliable partner to cover specific days or scheduled blocks
Modern, fully digital practice
Experience with ezyVet is highly preferred to ensure seamless digital hand-offs and efficient medical documentation
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
Licensed in British Columbia
Strong diagnostic and case management skills

We are seeking compassionate and patient individual to join my parents as a live-in Home Caregiver. My father has Alzheimer’s and mother has mild dementia. As a caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to them, ensuring their well-being and comfort. You will be part of a team of other caregivers. Optional live-in accommodation with a private bedroom and bathroom provided.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about assisting others, especially seniors and those with disabilities, to maintain independence and improve their quality of life. The caregiver will support clients with daily activities, health needs, and emotional well-being, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
FT 30 hrs per week. $25 / hr
Duties
Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Provide patient care including medication administration and health monitoring in accordance with care plans
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences
Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a clean living space
Support clients with mobility and transfer assistance, including heavy lifting when necessary
Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional health
Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
Assist with hospice care needs, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times
Work with individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments with patience and understanding
Qualifications
Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments preferred
Knowledge of senior care, hospice care, dementia care, and working with people with disabilities is highly desirable
Certification or experience in medication administration is a plus
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required
Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately

We are seeking a female outdoor adventure partner for our 75-year-old mother living with Alzheimer’s in New Westminster. Our mom is a fit and joyful woman who loves being outdoors, but is struggling to stay safe in the community as her cognition declines. We would love for her to continue to be able to explore and hopefully find companionship that is meaningful to her allowing her to maintain independence.
Ideal Candidate:

Physically active and enjoys spending time outdoors
Comfortable engaging in conversation and providing companionship
A working verbal knowledge of an Eastern European language is a strong asset, Slovak is primarily spoken in the home

Responsibilities:
Provide companionship, stimulation and social engagement outside the home
Go for walks, have coffee, and enjoy light outdoor activities
Work 1–4 times per week for 2-4 hours per visit.
Morning hours are strongly preferred- flexibility between 8:30-12:30 is workable.
Support and maintain a safe environment while out in the community by managing potential risks and ensuring her well-being.
