We require the services of a dedicated, conscientious individual to assist in the final stages of construction of a large new apartment building in Wolfville. Hours are somewhat flexible. The ideal candidate is available 20 to 40 hours per week. This is a term position to work with us as the project is completed, but it does have the possibility to grow into a longer-term position.
Site clean-up includes coming in behind different subcontractors to clean up their messes and prepping the area for the next subcontractor. For example, once the flooring contractors complete their work, clean-up workers get the property ready for the painters, cabinetry workers or whichever subcontractor is coming in next.
The position primarily involves general sweeping, vacuuming and wiping down all surfaces…floors, walls, tiles, countertops, cabinets, windows etc. Also related is some degree of general tidying and organizing of small items related to construction of the apartments.

A Drillers Helper is responsible for loading, unloading tooling and supplies, lifting heavy weight materials, and assisting the driller at job sites.
When we are not drilling, we have Shop time that includes preventive maintenance, organizing and inventorying tooling and consumables among other duties given by the Driller.
First Aid Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), other Safety Courses would be an asset.

We are looking for a full time live out nanny starting in April (ASAP) in our home in White Rock to help us care for our children in more of a mother-helper role. We have three kids - a 3.5 year old and two 4 month old twins. One parent would always be home.
35-40 hours per week. Rate of pay $18-20/hr depending on experience.
Most days would be 8 AM- 4 PM, however this may vary slightly and some weekends & evenings will be required. Schedule would be provided weeks in advance.
Up to date CPR, First Aid certification & CRC with vulnerable sector required, as well as up to date on all vaccinations. Must have experience with infants. Our house is not public transit accessible.
