62 year old female with a neurological condition (ARSACS) who uses a wheelchair, looking for help with personal care and household management. Caregiver Responsibilities: 1. Assistance with transfers, dressing and undressing 2. Do range of motion exercises as directed by physiotherapist. 3. Do homemaking activities weekly as needed: cleaning floors, kitchen and bathroom; changing bed 4. Help with shopping meal preparation and baking. 5. Similar tasks at would be performed by one ’s self from time to time were it not for a physical disability. 6. Occasionally assistance to appointments.
Work Schedule: Daily: Mornings for 2 hours starting anywhere between 8:30 and 9:30, Evenings for 1 hour starting anywhere between 8 and 11 (times are flexible as agreed upon by the employer and employee)
Qualifications: - Previous personal care experience preferred. - Formal CCA or equivalent training preferred but not necessary.
Personal Qualities: • Reliable and punctual. • Able to understand verbal and written instructions in English. • Flexible and willing to accept direction. • Outgoing.

Prior experience in hospital or pharmacy settings is preferred, along with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Duties
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
Manage inventory by stocking medications and supplies, and monitoring expiration dates
Provide excellent patient care by answering questions under pharmacist supervision
Maintain accurate records of medication transactions and patient information
Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing insurance claims
Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and medication dispensing procedures
Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
Experience/Skill requirements
Previous hospital or pharmacy experience is preferred but not mandatory
Knowledge of medical terminology and medication dispensing procedures
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
Previous customer service experience is preferred
Prior experience with pharmacy software systems is advantageous
