Position Duties:- Inspect, repair, and adjust Caterpillar, Volvo, Komatsu and other heavy off-road equipment
- Perform incidental welding operations on equipment
- Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations and compliances
- Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor to facilitate prompt correction or reporting
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
- Diagnose defects in heavy duty equipment
- Perform mechanical repairs on equipment in the shop and road calls when required
- Electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Accurate completion of work orders and timecards
- Repair cooling, and lubrication systems
- Install and align engines and machinery
- Repair mechanical transmissions, drivetrains, and final drives

SUMMARY
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Millwright is responsible to ensure that the plant and equipment are running in a safe and proper manner with the goal of keeping downtime to a minimum by trouble shooting mechanical problems, replacing or repairing defective machinery as soon as possible. The Millwright ensures that all company objectives and environmental standards are met.EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS
• Ensure equipment is maintained in proper condition to meet quality, productivity, and reliability expectations.
• Identify opportunities for safety, quality, and reliability improvements. Communicate the improvements to management with an action plan for implementation of improvements.
