I inherited an extensive library of great classical music recordings and have a Thorens turntable, NAD CD player, Quad electrostatic speakers, and a Bose bluetooth speaker. I am interested in meeting people who would like to listen to these recordings with me occasionally over coffee or tea. I have a spreadsheet listing the recordings which could be used as a resource. Friday Game Night
Hello Moncton.
I'm looking to add a 6th player to my weekly game night. We meet at 7pm and try to finish at 11pm which usually means midnight.
Currently we are a group of five 30-somethings. Three guys and two girls, so ideally we would like to find a 30-something girl to even out the table, but it's not necessary.

The MAC recording platform is paired with PRO-TOOLS HD (16 channel I/O) and is loaded with some of the finest plugins by SLATE DIGITAL, SONNOX, ISOTOPE, and WAVES. MELODYNE is here to help smooth your vocals. We have OMNISPHERE 2 for great synth patches, and the complete VIENNA SYMPHONIC CUBE for more complex arrangements.
The expanded live room has been fully tested and acoustically treated and is capable of many configurations. Piano trio (piano, bass, drums), or any combination of electric instruments is doable. There is vocal or guitar/bass amp isolation available. Acoustic guitar sounds amazing in the room!
The studio has a great collection of microphones for any application. The flagship Telefunken ELA-251 M has an incredible sonic presence and is known as “THE VOCAL MIC”. Then there is the Neumann U-87 ai that sounds great on anything. The Neumann TLM 103 and two Neumann KM-184's are all fine microphones. My name is Dearian Seepersad, I'm a Music Teacher, Performer, and Composer. For the last 5 years I've been performing all over the GTA, including: festivals; pride, multi-cultural, afro-fest, private functions, restaurants, bars, and producing my local show while producing tracks for local Toronto artists. This year, I'm building my independent music school from my home studio. (Big Project!) Too often, I hear about beginner students horror stories about learning in the classical vein or the lack of purpose in general lesson plans. My focus is to create a unique lesson plan for each student to maximize efficiency while incorporating my teaching style into the plan. I incorporate musical expression, technique, and theory into each lesson while taking we've learnt and reworking it into something original. Composition being the ultimate goal; as we learn a lot quicker thinking for ourselves. There are no limitations, I've taught and performed in many genres: Classical, Jazz, Rock,Pop,Reggae, Blues, Hip-hop, Gospel, Fusion, the list goes on... So who am I? I'm a 24 year old musician who's extremely passionate about ALL music. - Completed 3 years Mohawk College Applied Music program. - 5 years teaching experience. (Includes leading band rehearsal and performances) - Developed and promoted shows - Constantly studying the scripts of the great classical composers. - Most important: Patient and Understanding. The lessons I'm offering are: Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, Recording, and Drums. (Drums taught by another teacher) We will discuss: Structure (Form), Harmony, Melody, Counterpoint, Sightreading and Improvisation while meeting the technical demands of instrument.
