Responsibilities:
Work within commercial and industrial environments such as supermarkets, data centers, refineries, institutions
Complete the required daily equipment inspections, safety reports, and Field Level Hazard Assessments
Lift up to 50 lbs
Perform work using hand and power tools in a safe manner
Read and interpret blueprints, basic spec, and shop drawing interpretation considered an asset
Maintain clean and operable equipment, vehicle, and work areas at all time
Maintenance and service of plumbing equipment such as pumps, boilers, and backflows
Other duties as assignedMinimum Requirements:
Journeyperson Plumber certification
5+ years in a similar role
Gas A Ticket is an asset
Gas and boiler experience is an asset
Valid class 5 driver’s license and current driver’s abstract

• Loading, stripping, moving, and organizing construction materials
• Assist and be able to take direction by supervisors with the relevant scope of work. This includes removal of demolition debris and heavy lifting, following OHS standards
• Operate company vehicles and equipment in a safe, professional, and courteous manner
• Maintain all tools and equipment to Ultimate Contracting standards
• Comfortable working 8+ hours on site as needed
• Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather as required
• Light duty scaffolding assembling and dismantling
• General cleanup and site maintenance. Including site trailers, shops, and public areas
• May work with chemicals and adhesives. Preferred Training ACSA CSTS-2022 and WHMIS prior to hire start date
• Using tools and equipment to complete tasks assigned as needed
• Duties may vary depending on previous work experience
• Wages based on experience. This position is based on hourly pay. Minimum $20.00 will be the starting rateQualifications and Skills
• Preferred 1-year previous construction laboring experience or labor experience in a related field
