Responsabilits du mcanicien / technicien diesel:- S'assurer que les vhicules sont entretenus et scuritaires pour nos passagers en effectuant des rparations avec un minimum de supervision et l'entretien de base ou complexe tel que le remplacement des ampoules, des fusibles, des balais d'essuie-glace, des courroies, des tuyaux, des batteries, en vrifiant les niveaux de fluides, en changeant les fluides et les filtres et des composantes de lubrification.
- Effectuer les rparations mcaniques sous une supervision minimale, y compris la rparation et les inspections des freins, les mises au point du moteur, les suspensions, les embrayages de transmission et autres rparations.
- Tenir des registres de tous les travaux d'entretien effectus sur les vhicules, y compris les pices et matriaux utilises. Assurez-vous que les bons de travail sont excuts correctement et avec prcision. Tenir jour des registres d'utilisation des pices et commander des pices de rechange auprs de fournisseurs dsigns.
- Diagnostiquer et effectuer avec prcision toutes les phases de la rparation du vhicule et de l'quipement sous une supervision minimale. Effectuer des tests de diagnostic laide dun ordinateur et du logiciel du fabricant pour dterminer les dfauts mcaniques.
- Effectuer la maintenance prventive (PEP), les inspections d'entretien de scurit et les inspections d'entretien annuel.
- Retirer, rparer et rinstaller les composantes mcaniques avec un minimum de supervision.
- Aviser le superviseur des quipements potentiellement dangereux et des mesures correctives prises.
- valuer le travail termin avant de fermer le bon de travail et demander l'approbation, le cas chant.
- Se dplacer pour des services d'urgence sur la route si ncessaire.
- Adhrez aux normes, politiques et procdures de First Student.
- Respecter les rgles en matire de sant et de scurit au travail
- Dplacer les vhicules en toute scurit
- Accomplir d'autres taches comme demand ou requis.

Qualifications de mcanicien / technicien diesel:- De l'exprience en rparation de vhicules automobiles ou diesel; une exprience en camion ou en autobus scolaire est prfrable

- Possder les outils de mcanique adquats pour accomplir toutes les tches assignes.

Summary of Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance/inspections on heavy/light equipment
• Diagnose, repair and service a large variety of pickup and tandem trucks, heavy equipment, trailers and specialized winter equipment such as salt spreaders and snow plows.
• Perform Motor Vehicle Inspections
• Perform road tests on fleet vehicles, and when required use electronic diagnostic systems to determine problem with equipment
• Perform road side repairs in all weather conditions, be able to be on call during winter months

The Operations Technician ensures that plant operations are safe, efficient, consistent, and compliant with relevant safety codes, government regulations, and product quality standards. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:- Carry out the duties and complete identified routines required for safe care and operation of assigned areas within the methanol manufacturing plant, in accordance with Alberta Boiler Safety Association (ABSA) power engineering regulations and operations standards
- Identify and report process or equipment issues that could interfere with plant safety initiatives and production targets or goals

To qualify, you will need a minimum 3rd Class Power Engineer certification. Active progression toward the next class of Power Engineer certification or a two-year post-secondary diploma in Power Engineering Technology is preferred. Possessing 5 or more years of experience in a petrochemical plant, refinery, or another related industrial setting, with previous experience in water treatment processes, high-pressure steam generation, or steam/methane reforming would be an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and web-based applications, along with a valid Class 5 Drivers License is required for this role.

- Develops long-term (1-5 Years) maintenance schedules for high-criticality maintenance work
- Manages Maintenance scheduling tools for efficiency and accuracy
- Tracks availability of staff, contractors, and critical resources and participates in weekly manpower allocation meetings
- Advises supervisors on resource requirements and any mismatches
- Ensures coordination of external services, contractors, and equipment rentals
- Develops systems to monitor and record compliance with planned schedules and produces reports
