Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, Industrial Mechanics are responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining the processing plant’s stationary equipment. To be successful, we are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal skills and has the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental
- Maintain and service the processing plant’s stationary equipment including, pumps, gearboxes, chain-drive, conveyors, belts, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Install, inspect and repair of mechanical and hydraulic components
- In certain components of this role it is mandatory to wear a respirator which requires an interference free seal
- Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyperson’s Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Previous mining experience is an asset

Votre rôle
Nordia est à la recherche d'un gestionnaire de la paie et des avantages sociaux chevronné et stratégique pour diriger nos activités de paie et d'avantages sociaux au Canada. Le candidat retenu jouera un rôle clé dans la transformation du service de la paie, alors que nous nous apprêtons à implanter un nouveau logiciel de gestion du capital humain (HCMS) dans l’organisation. Ce poste exige un professionnel très organisé et soucieux du détail, doté de solides compétences en communication et soucieux d'offrir une expérience positive aux employés.
Le candidat idéal sera chargé d'assimiler et de superviser l'administration actuelle des programmes de paie et d'avantages sociaux et de fournir des idées et des recommandations pour optimiser la structure de paie et d'avantages sociaux de l'organisation.
Responsabilités:Traitement de la paie
- Superviser le processus de paie dans son intégralité en veillant au respect de la législation fédérale et provinciale et au traitement précis et opportun de la paie bihebdomadaire pour une équipe de plus de 4 000 employés.
- Se tenir au courant des modifications apportées à la législation canadienne en matière de paie et veiller à ce que l'entreprise s'y conforme.
- Collaborer avec le département des ressources humaines pour l'application des accords salariaux ou des modifications de la rémunération, ainsi que pour l'application des dispositions des conventions collectives.
- Produire la déclaration de fin d'année et les formulaires d'impôt sur les salaires.
- Participer, le cas échéant, aux procédures d'audit des salaires.
Gestion des avantages sociaux
- Gérer et optimiser les programmes d'avantages sociaux, y compris les régimes d'assurance maladie et de retraite.
- Fournir une analyse des coûts des plans et identifier les possibilités de réduction des coûts.
Gestion d'équipe
- Diriger et encadrer une équipe de spécialistes de la paie, en fournissant des conseils et un soutien en cas de besoin.
- Favoriser une culture de collaboration et d'orientation vers le client au sein du département.
Amélioration des processus
- Identifier les possibilités d'amélioration des procédures de paie et mettre en œuvre des solutions pour accroître l'efficacité et la précision.
- Maîtriser le système HCMS et collaborer avec d'autres services afin d'assurer une intégration transparente des données relatives à la paie, tout en favorisant une approche globale et intégrée.
- Se tenir au courant des fonctionnalités de notre nouveau système de gestion de la paie, afin d'en assurer une utilisation optimale pour les processus de paie, d'avantages sociaux et autres processus connexes.
- Collaborer avec l'équipe informatique pour dépanner et résoudre tout problème lié à la fonctionnalité du HCMS.
- Assurer l'intégrité des données dans tous les systèmes liés à la paie.
- Veiller à ce que des mesures de sécurité appropriées soient mises en place pour assurer la protection des informations personnelles.
- Diplôme en administration des affaires, en ressources humaines, en finance ou dans un domaine connexe
- Titre de gestionnaire de paie certifié (CPM)
- Au moins 10 ans d'expérience dans la direction d'une équipe chargée de la paie et des avantages sociaux
- Solides compétences en matière de leadership et de gestion
- Excellent souci du détail et de l'exactitude
- Connaissance approfondie de la législation et de la réglementation canadiennes en matière de paie
- Compétences efficaces en matière de communication et de relations interpersonnelles (français et anglais)

We are currently seeking a general laborer based out of our Grand Falls NB Grain Location. Reporting directly to the Operations Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the operation functions, while always ensuring a safe work environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Ability to work with minimum supervision in a team environment.
- Effective Verbal communication skills.
- Must work with a strong sense of urgency.
- The ability to operate a forklift, skid loader, track mobile and ten-wheeler would be an asset.

Position Summary
We are looking for an Agricultural Intern to join us for a 3+ month period, starting in May 2024. This position is based in Grand Falls, New Brunswick as part of our North American Agriculture team.
During your internship, you will have exposure to grower relations, crop monitoring and intelligence, raw product alignment, cost of production, research and applied science and extension activities including agronomy and sustainability, and the general operation of a commercial agriculture department. You will also see firsthand how McCain's potatoes are produced and processed into finished product for our customers.
You will be exposed to McCain manufacturing operations and will have the opportunity to complete a series of in-house training modules that are part of a wider McCain Agriculture training program.
Upon successful completion of the internship as well as completion of a diploma or degree in an agriculture field, you will be a step ahead of other candidates considered for full time employment within McCain Foods LTD.

What You Will Be Working On
As an intern, you will be in a support position at the local office to research and analyze data to improve crop management in the area. Work is planned and conducted under the guidance of the Agronomist and with advice from the Department Manager. Projects may include the following:- Assist in developing research needed to determine best practices for sustainability goals
- Investigate pest/disease management practices in the local area
- Statistical evaluation to identify best practices and data trends
- Track and evaluate potato varieties and their performance in the factory
- Monitor and analyze internal raw product inspection procedures
- Educate local growers on new field production and storage management techniques through written material, field demonstrations, tours, seminars, and workshops
- Promote relations between company and growers through periodic farm and storage visits
- Assist in collection and analysis of grower field and/or bin sampling program

What You Need to be Successful- College Junior/Senior or Undergrad majoring in Ag Science, Plant Science, Ag Business, Ag Economics or closely related discipline
- Knowledge of farm practices and vegetable production is desirable but not necessary
- Basic to Intermediate skills in word processing, spreadsheet, data management and presentation preparations. Statistical computer application would be beneficial
- Communication skills – must be able to speak effectively both to individuals as well as to groups, making short presentations in groups settings, familiar with video conferencing
- Must be able to write routine correspondence and reports to a variety of audiences
- A valid driver's license, comfortable flying/driving long distances

Position Title: Process Control Engineer

The role also serves as a functional lead and will be instrumental in leading the Process Optimization initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Serves as functional lead for process optimization using statistical data, including performing design of experiments on the production line and the development of functional process control models.
- Lead training efforts in the application of statistical methods in Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Assist in the development and execution of Process Control training programs to ensure proper training of all Quality personnel.

- Collaborate with Safety, Health, and Quality staff to ensure sites manufacturing processes are safely designed, audited and operated in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Assist in initiation and implementation of the preparation of new or revised product specifications, process parameters, and procedures.
- Liaise with Sanitation personnel and assist where applicable in the setting of sanitation targets and objectives that compliment company policies and goals.

REQUIREMENTS
